Chapter 9

Alex's Pov still

Madison's dad? Here?

"Mike, I know how much you miss Madison, but she needs to be kept safe." Mr. Harvered said.

"Look Mr. Harvered, I know Madison, she doesn't like to be in training, she likes to go on missons." Mom's voice said.

"I know she does. She is good at it, but its too dangerous." Mr. Harvered said like he was talking to a injurd puppy.

I quietly slid Madison off of me and walked over to the railing and peeked my head over just enough to see them, I saw Madison's Mom and Dad, my parents and Mr. Harvered.

"I want to see her! Right now!" Madison's dad yelled again.

"Alright Mike! She is upstairs in her room with everyone else, asleep." My dad told him. "They are under so, you can talk, touch, and pick her up."

I realized that it must have worn off of me, I ran in to the room and placed Madison the way she was on me.

I heard everyone come in, I fluttered my eyes open, "What's going on?" I asked them. I look at Madison's Dad. "Mr. Mountain?"

"Alexander, this is Madison's Dad." My mom said. I nodded.

Mr. Mountain walked around the bed closer to Madison. "She looks beautiful." He said.

I could see the pain of seeing her in his eyes.

"Mark, you can't stay long." Mr. Harvered said.

"Then keep her under longer!" Mr. Mountain growled at him.

Mr. Harvered nodded and walked out of the door.

"Mom, what are they going to do to Madison?" I asked.

"They are going to keep her sleeping so her father can see her longer." My mom replied.

Mr. Harvered returned, with a gas tank and a shot thingy. "Which one would you like to give her?" He asked Mr. Mountain.

"The gas!" He snapped. He took it from Mr. Harvered and put the gas mask on her face and held it there for a minute or two. When he finally took it off of her my smiled at his job. He picked Madison up in his arms.

Madison's mom had tears in her eyes, "Baby!" She gasped running over to Madison and hugging her.

I watched as they both kissed Madison and hugged her. After Mr. Harvered looked at me and nodded. "Alexander Green, I have heard a lot about you." He smiled at me.

"Thank you Sir." I nodded back.

Madison yawned, Mr. Harvered ran over and placed her back on the bed, "You must leave!" He whispered.

"No I won't!" Mr. Mountain growled.

"Mike, this isn't the time for this!" My dad said.

"Madison needs me!" Mr. Mountain yelled.

"Mike stop it! Madison isn't ready!" My dad yelled.

"Yes she is! I have watched her!!!" Her father screamed.

My mom took Madison, she set Madison down next to me.

Her dad growled as my mom did that, "Mr. Mountain Madison is safe here, I won't let anything happen to her." I tell her father.

"Thank you Alexander. It's nice to now that someone will be looking after my Madison." Her father said.

He walked out with her mother and left all us wondering where his is going.
