Spying is Easy.. But I have to do it with My worst Enemy

Chapter 3

(Jess's POV) 

"Alex get her inside!" I said to Alex. Alex was carring Madi in to the house. I slamed the door and rushed to his side he walked into Madi's room. I threw the covers open and Alex set her in her bed. Alex left to go call dad and ask what to do. I changed Madi into her favorite PITT shirt/ pj shirt and her matching bottoms. Alex rushed back in and took her temputer, he was on the phone. "Uh it say shes 103." He said. He hung up and went to out and returned with water. "Wake her up and give her this!" He handed me the glass and I poked Madi and her eyes opened, I handed her the glass and he drank all of it. "Madi dont worry you goingto be fine!" Alex told her. "I dont feel fine." She said. Alex managed to clam her down, " We have to wait till morning." Alex said. I nodded and took out my phone, new text from Alyssa : Hey I heard about Madison, what happened? I needed to think about that part, "Alyssa wants to know about Madi what do I tell her?" I asked Alex. "Say that she picked something up." He said crossing his arms. I texted her back , Madi got something from the food @ school she will be fine, send! 

I woke up early the next day I need to check on Madi. Sure enough she was ready for school and looked like she was back to normal. "Dad says to make sure you drink some water." Alex told her handing her a bottle filled with ice water. "So tryout for the team are today." Madi said, yep she was back to normal. "Yeah i know! I'm so ready for it! Best part Jack is my ffriend kinda so Im already close to him and going to be his best friend today." Alex said with a wiggle of his eye brows and a evil smile. Madi threw a towle at him and laughed. "Well you look ready for cheer today." I butted in. "Yeah I guess so." Madi said. I stuck my toung out at her, she stuck hers out right back.We all laughed and smiled.  

At school Alyssa ran over to us well more over to Madi. "OMG! You gave me a scare! Don't EVER do that again!" Alyssa said. Wow not matter how nice they seem cheerleaders aer still selfish! I couldnt believe it, Alyssa cared only about Madi only because she is apart of the team. Madi looked like she was thinking the same thing I was. "Wouldn't dream of it."Madi growled. Alyssa backed away and walked in to school, her friends walked up to her. She flipped her blond hair back and walking in to the building. Madi looked like she did before we bonded, she began to walk twards the school. Alex and I grabbed her arm. "Don't do it Madison! Don't go roge!" Alex said. MAdi shook us off of her and walked into the school leaving us stairing at her. "We have to watch hernow." I face Alex, he nodded and we walked inside to see Madi making her way to Alyssa. Alex looked worried, if Madi blew our cover then we would have to leave and but everyone in danger. I ran to Madi and tried to hold her back but she was too strong. Alex helped and we stopped her. 

The rest of the day Madi looked at Alyssa and up came cheer practice. Alyssa was one of the girls who stood on the other girls hands and jumped and Madi was her catcher. I saw thjat Madi had that smirk on her face as she stood behind Alyssa. All at once Alyssa was in the air, Madidropped her arms so she could fall I ran and pushed Madi out of the way and cought Alyssa. "Wait I thoguht that Madi was suppost ti catch me." Alyssa said looking puzzled. "Well I desided to try something different." I lied, but she didnt notice. 

After paracitce Madi came up to me. "You!" She yelled, looking like she was going to kill me.

(Alex's POV) 

We were runing around the court and doing lay ups and free throws. 

JAck was passing me the ball now and I made a lay up, best part I could keep an eye on Madi because the cheerleaders were paracticing in the gym also. I noticed something out of the corner of my eye, Jess pushed Madi out of the way and caught Alyssa. I couldn't believe it. I knew Jess wont do that for no reason. 

The rest of the practice I watched them, after all that was done Jack came over to me. "Yo! Dude you were awesome!" He patted me on the back. I smiled, then walked over to Madi and Jess, "You!" I heard Madi scream. I ran for them, I knew that when Madi gets mad someone gets hurt. I brock them up by throwing myself in to the middle of them. Madi didnt move, Jess moved back because she didnt know I was coming. "KNOCK IT OFF!" I screamed at Madi. Madi growled at me but I didn't care. I knew what was going on. Jess and I looked at Madi, all she did was walk away from us, but we didn't let that happen I ran over to her and grabbed her arm. "Get off of me." She growled under her breath. I didnt listen I turned her around. She kicked me where it hurts. I let her go and fell to my knees. Jess rushed to my side, Madi looked at her. Jess looked at her not knowing what to do. Madi walked away from me like nothing had happen.

Back at home Madi locked herself in her room like old times. "Here." Jess handed me an ice pack. I took it and smiled a little sheep smile. I knew i should go and talk to her but there was no telling what she was going to do. Jess gave me a look and I started up the stairs to Madi's room. I knocked and there was a "Come in." I knew that something was wrong with Madi. I walked in to find her on her bed and looking like she did yesterday. "Madi whats wrong with you?" I asked climbing into her bed, she changed from her cheer unifrom to her PJ's. She shrugged, "Just get out." She said softly. I got out and ran down the stairs. "Somethings not right!" I whispered to Jess in case Madi could hear us. "Why?" She whispered back.  I need to think, why go to school not feeling good just to come home and act sick? "I don't know." I said breaking the whisper. Jess rolled her eyes, I didnt want her to think what I wa thinking. 

(Madi's POV) 

Alright, I know I couldnt gotten that sick that fast but I didnt. I just was tried! And Alex thinks that I'm sick well fine because I got asked to go to the mall with Alyssa and her friends, but I think that theres something going on. And I am going to find out. I ran over to my window and saw just by looking at the sky that it was 6:30, perfict. I changed into my clothes I had on and opened the window. Good thing I didnt wait another moment because I could hear Alex and Jess walking to my room. I jumped from the windowsil to a tree branch and let myself fall to the ground. I ran to the car. "To the mall." I told the driver. I knew that Jess and Alex were watching the car drive away, I looked back and there they were on the front lawn with look on their face. RING! My phone. "Hello, Madison speaking." I laughed knowing who it was. "You turn that car around!" Alex's voice screamed in my ear. "No way! I work alone." I hung up. I kne wthat they were going to  follow me so I am going to have some fun with them. 

At the mall, Alyssa and some of her friends Julia, Allison, whitch reminded me of Ally, and Nicole. Nicole looked like she could be working under cover, Julia looked like she could be too, but Allison looked like she was under cover, watching everyone around her, and at one point I thought I saw a knife in her pures. All the while I felt eyes stairing at me, Jess and Alex, so I looked them everywhere in that mall, but the last place I wanted to go was Build a Bear, but Alyssa, Julia, Allison, and Nicole wanted to so I had to go with them. But I had a plan, wait till they are to busy picking everything out and sneak out of there. The moment came, they werent even looking at me, I sprinted out and knocked into a few people, "Sorry!" I bulerted\, looking back. "Oh no worries." Alex's voice growled. CRAP!!!! I thought looking in front of me only to see Jess and Alex. "You are coming with us!" Jess said grabing my arm. I fought only to hear an ear percing scream coming from inside. Jess loosened her grip and I ran inside them trying to keep up. Alyssa was on the floor, her tiger was on the wall, and threw its head, a knife. I knew what Jess and Alex were thinking by the looks on their faces, they looked at me and I looked at them. Alyssa was crying on the floor, still screaming, Julia was next to her side along with Nicole, and Allison, saying to her, "Its ok", "We should go", and "Lets get your go of here!" Coming from each one of them. I pushed them aside and help Alyssa up. "It came out of no where!" She screamed. "Come on lets get you home." I calmly said to her leading her out to her car and seeing her off. I turned on my heel to see Jess and Alex stairing at me. "What?" I growled. "You could have told us you were coming here with Alyssa." Jess crossed her arms. "And you could have left me alone but no." I said in reply and walked to our car. 

At home Alex was giving me a talk, I hated the talk. "Madi, you know that we are suppost to be on this mission together. Not just you. So if you are going somewhere you need to tell us!" He finished that last on almost in a scream. "So! You wouldn't have let me go, and look where that got Alyssa!" I screamed."We will talk about this tomorrow." He said getting off of my bed and leaving letting Jess talk to me. "I would've helped you with this." She said. I looked at her in dibeliefe, she wouldnt have done this. "Fine I wouldn't have done that but, if it wasn't for you maybe Alyssa wouldnt have gone to that store I know you hate it." Jess admited. "So what?" I growled. I didnt feel like a family anymore.
