Spying is Easy.. But I have to do it with My worst Enemy

Chapter 5

(Jess's POV) 

Madi didnt have to do that to Alyssa! She did that for no reason, and now I had to cover for her! 

I walked to Alyssa, "I'm sorry thar Madi did that!" I said. "Oh it's ok, I would expect that from a girl like her." She told me. I knew what she meant, a tomboy. 

After Alyssa went home I walked up to Madi, She was talking to Alex in his room. "Why did you change?" I asked noticing her PITT shirt. "She spilled her drink on me!" She bursted. "She would never do that!" I protested. "Well she did! So your either on her side on my side!" She finished as she walked out and in to her room. "Did you know about this?" I asked Alex. He nodded, "Yeah........ But you know Madi she would only do that if Alyssa did something to her." He said playing Call of Duty. "Well you could have told me this!" I told him. "I was going to, till you put on that show." He smiled. I rolled my eyes and went in to Madi's room. She was mixing her music, she noticed me but didnt look or say anything to me. I sat on her bed, "You can be mad at me all you want." I told her. She put on her headphones. "Look I know that you want to go and spy on her house." I begain, "So I thought to be even I will let you go and I will cover for you." I finished, Madi's eyes sparked. "I;m listening."She said turning around. "Well I will destract Alex and you can go spy all you want." I told her, she seemed on board. "Alright." She said. I smiled and walked out of her room. 

Later I saw Madi riding her bike away from the house, I smiled to myself. Show time! I walked out back to see Alex shooting hops and dribbling. "So how did she take it?" HE asked. "Well shes locked herself in her room for the rest of the night." I told him. "Well thats fine with me." He said making a basket. I smiled and went inside. I heard the song Tell me something I don't know by Selena Gomez go off on my phone, Alyssa. I picked it up. "Hey, I want to talk to Madi, she wont answer my calls." Alyssa said. SHES HOME!!!!! I thought, Madi was going to her house to spy! "Well shes kinda doing something at the moment." I told Alyssa. "Oh alright, I will just have to talk to her tomorrow." She hung up. Odd, she always ends a call with me with a cya later. Oh well, I'm sure Madi will come home early then. 

(Alex's POV) 

I knew something was up, Jess never acts so clam. I knocked on Madi's door. I heard music playing so I thought she couldn't hear me. I left her room and my phone vibrated, Nicole. "Hey Alex uh we have to talk." Nicole's voice said. "Alright when and where?" I asked her. "Uh school in10." She said. "Alright see you there."  I said hanging up and walking in to the kitchen to see Jess. "We have to go to the school." I told her. "What!" She bursted. "Nicole wants to talk to us, I don't know why but I know its important. We can leave Madi alone can't we?" I said to Jess, she nodded and we walked out the door. 

When we got to the aschool Nicole was there and waiting for us. "Alex! Jessica!" She bursted, she looked awful, hair was a mess and she was crying. "Whats wrong?!" Jess asked pulling her in for a hug.  "It's Alyssa! I think Madi is after her!" She cried. I let her go on. "Well you see, I saw Madi sneaking around her house at like 6 in the morning and I dont know what she was doing!" She finished. "Nicole it's ok! Madi's not after Alyssa! Shes at home right now listening to her music." I told Nicole but she shook her head. Jess looked like she was hiding something again. Nicole ran to her car and drove off. "She ave to follow her!" I said. "NO way! I dont wan to risk blowing our cover." Jess said. Now i knew something was wrong. I got in to the car and Jess followed.

Once we got home I walked up stairs planing to go to Madi's room but Jess stopped me. "YOu dont want to do that! She was really mad when I left!" She said. I pushed her aside, but she pushed me away from the door. "Alright whats going on!" I asked her. Nothing!" She said. I opened the door and saw a empty room. I turned around, "JESS!" I growled. She screamed and ran to her room locknig the door. I banged on it as hard as I could. "Jess let me in now!!" I screamed. I kicked in her door, to see her trying to get out the window, something Madi would only be able to do. I pulled her back in and sat her down. "Where is she!?" I asked. "I don't know!" She said. I grabbed my phone and pulled up an app that allowed me to see where anyone was, I typed in Madi's full name and there she was, Alyssa's house. I looked up at Jess. "I didn't know she would go to her house!" She yelled. "I know you didn't, you wouldnt have let her go if you did." I calmly said.  Jess looked at me like I was crazy, shes the one that told Madi to go! I rolled my eyes, "Well we got to go get her." I stood up and grabbed my jacket. Jess grabbed her jacket and we ran to our bikes. 

When we got to Alyssa's house we placed our bike in a bush, and to your suprise there was Madi's bike. I looked at Jess, she looked guilty. 

(Madi's POV) 

I was in Alyssa's house, I didn't know that she was home!!! But I didn't let that stop me, I quietly picked the lock and peeked inside, clear. I quietly walked up the stairs and saw that Alyssa's bedroom door was open. "Dad, no one is spying on me!" I heard Alyssa say, I peeked in her room, she was on the phone sitting on her bed. Perfict, I ran across the doorway un-noticed. That was close, i walked into her dad's office. I got on the computer and started to work quietly untill i heard footsteps walking towars me. I clicked out and jumped into the closet. "Fine dad! I will look!" She said hanging up. I opened the door just enought to I could see Alyussa sitting at the computer. I noticed something, my flash drive in the computer. Alyssa also noticed it also, she yanked it out and looked at it. She smiled and walked out. I pulled out my phone and texted Jess, She got my flash drive!, was all I needed to tell her. 

After I was sure that Alyssa was sleeping I came out of the closet and went in to her room. ONly to see someone beat me to her room, two people were standing there over her and were looking for something. "Sorry but I think I was here first." I said, thinking I would hear Alex or Jess's voice but I was dead wrong. The people turned around and saw me, they came at me and tried to grab me but I punched them both in the gut making them fall to the ground.  I smirked, but I heard noise behind me, I turned around but I was too late. A hand grabbed me by the neck, "Speak and die." A voice growled. I heard some movment anfd then a tazzer, I held my breath. I heard a buzzing sound and I fell to the ground. I heard footsteps walk away from me and I blacked out. 

When I woke up I was in my warm bed with Jess and Alex looking at me. "What happened?" I asked grbbing my head, I must've hit my head when I fell. "We found you in Alyssa's room passed out." Alex said. I sighed, and looked at Jess. "Madi what were you doing when you....." She trailed off. "Looking for my flash drive." I said. Jess looked worried, "Do you think?" She asked Alex. Alex looked at her and looked at me. "What are you talking about?" I asked. "Well Madi, dad has been keeping track of your enimys and well, uh....." He looked at Jess for some help. "UH your old friend Cambri is in town."JEss chocked out. My eyes snapped open. Cambri used to be a partener but thats when she tossed me aside to become a better spy, well look at me now. We met when I was 4, we were never apart, Cambri, Ally, and me hanged out every day after  we met. We did everything together like BFF's would. 

One day she was offered a job in the big time, she took it and rubbed it in my face. "I will love seeing her at school then." I smirked. "Oh no you don't!" Alex said. I got up but Alex grabbed my arm. I rolled my eyes at looked at him.
