There's a box of crayons on my desk. I open it to find pieces of broken crayons. I never liked crayons. I liked colored pencils better. I hated how the chalky texture left some parts white, and how that white spot wouldn't go away. I never understood the people who ripped off the paper and left the crayons naked. What's that book.. The Day the Crayons Quit. I loved that book. My crayons are probably furious at me. I used to hate the indigo color. I loved the purple-pink color. Was it magenta? I remember watching a video on how crayons were made. I think I watched it three times in different classes. It's one of those videos all elementary kids watch. I remember loving that video. I used to want to big Crayola boxes of markers. I heard they're good to do calligraphy with. I remember when erasable colored pencils used to be a huge thing. I didn't like them that much. The formula was different. I HATE colored pencils that are mushy. Like, when you color, it's not hard and crisp. The color is faded no matter how hard you push and it feels waxy. Do you know what I mean? I hated those.
