The faculty watched as the black robed figure glided down the hall of the elementary school. They stood still in their places as Death passed each of them by. Nobody dared question him on his sudden visit. Some of the teachers pulled their students back into the classrooms. They knew why he was here. Somebody was going to die. Oh God! What if it was a child!? Surely Death couldn't be that cruel. But they knew otherwise. Death had taken many children over the years. In storms, car accidents, hell if he hadn't even taken them from their cribs as they slept. Slowly he glided towards the fifth grade history class. The faculty sighed a breath of relief. Mr. Farnworth was almost seventy. Surely death had come for him. But to their horror, Death made a b-line for the kindergarten classes and slipped through the door. The small children all scattered to the corners of the room when they saw him. Their teacher completely passed out. All was in chaos.Except for a little girl in a red dress with long black hair. Death glided over to her and slid back his hood to reveal his skull. The little girl looked up as Death reached under his robe. Her classmates felt chills run down their spines. The little girl looked up at Death and suddenly smiled. "Daddy!" Death pulled out a Hello Kitty lunchbox. "Dalila honey. You know not to forget your lunch. Mommy had to call me from work." The little girl gave him a big hug. "Sorry Daddy." Death rubbed her head. "That's alright dear." He looked across the room at the young collapsed teacher. "Ms. Franklin is on my list today."
