The Four Seasons

Without you my life is never enough;
you brought an embrace with comforting warmth,
I saw my sunshine loomed over the cloud,
even in your silence you speak out loud.

A blossomed beginning with radiance;
colors began to appear with vibrance,
say I'll let you enter my life at the first glance,
when there is you and I there is us all at once.

Now that it's summer the heat went more intense,
I'm currently overwhelmed by this suspense;
this might be the calling of the heavens!
realized that us crossing paths is not coincidence.

The light outside blazed brightly;
the days seemed to be less gloomy;
you boosted my mood like candy,
it's not Christmas but it's merry.

I didn't even expect we could end up in separation;
until we slowly drifted apart and left hearts in destruction,
I said please stay but you said I need to leave I can't stay;
since then I'm like a leaf falling down in dismay.

You left my heart broken and scared;
to love again and be vulnerable hoping that someone cared,
I know you are someone I adore;
but after you left it will never be the same anymore.

The icy coldness made my heart froze,
had frostbite under the falling snows,
thinking I don't want to see you one day;
in my head shouting please stay away.

You're the avalanche who buried me alive;
with memories that made it difficult to strive:
even with the winter coat I wear,
I shivered bitterly with despair.

When there's forgiveness there's a chance;
say I'll let you enter my life again for once,
colors begin to appear with vibrance:
a blossoming new beginning with radiance.

After the cold winter's unmerciful wrath;
I see my sunshine coming back,
welcoming with an embrace with comforting warmth,
without you my life is never enough.
