Tyler: That's the last camera. If we're gonna pick up live fee for world wide we'll need a system like the weather channel.

But I think he's been customizing them in his own fitting to fuse his soul into the doll without having to turn human. Chucky upgraded himself that he won't be fully human. Nor to bleed or be killed by fatal blows.
