Three months had passed since Harry's doorway network had become fully operational, and the world around Hogwarts was buzzing with life. The villages and towns Harry had envisioned were no longer just plans on parchment—they were thriving, bustling communities.
Three of the major towns—Gringotts Village, the Agricultural Hub, and the School & Library Town—had been fully built and were now in full operation. Alongside these, most of the creature villages and wizarding villages had also been completed, their new inhabitants beginning to add their own touches and designs to their homes.
The magical world was flourishing in ways it hadn't before, and Harry found a sense of peace in watching it grow.
Gringotts Village: A Hub of Goblin Activity
In the heart of Gringotts Village, the goblins had made themselves at home. The town had expanded far beyond Harry's initial expectations, with its signature goblin architecture—all sharp lines, angular buildings, and towering structures. The Gringotts Bank sat at the center of the village, its vast underground vaults stretching deep beneath the town.
Harry stood at the entrance to the bank, watching as goblins went about their daily business, their pointed ears twitching in concentration as they made deals, exchanged gold, and conducted trade.
"Everything seems to be running smoothly here," Harry said to Gruzak Ironclaw, the Lord of Goblins, who stood beside him.
Gruzak gave a sharp nod, his eyes gleaming with satisfaction. "Indeed, Potter. This village has allowed us to expand in ways we could never have in Diagon Alley. Our operations are growing, and we are pleased with the result."
Harry smiled. "I'm glad to hear it. This is exactly what I had hoped for."
As they walked through the village, Harry could see the goblins not only working but living. Goblin homes had sprung up around the village, and families were settling into their new lives, making this place their own.
The Agricultural Hub: Feeding the Future
A few miles north of Gringotts Village lay the vast Agricultural Hub. This town was designed to supply the entire wizarding world with food, potion ingredients, and other essentials. The land was sprawling, filled with farms, orchards, and greenhouses, each one teeming with magical and non-magical plants alike.
Farmers—both magical and Muggle—had come together to work the land. Magical creatures like thestrals, hippogriffs, and winged horses roamed the skies, while house-elves tended to the more delicate crops, ensuring everything was harvested at its peak.
Harry strolled through the fields, taking in the sights and sounds of the thriving farms. Hannah Abbott, who had taken up residence in the hub, greeted him with a bright smile.
"We've already started harvesting the first crops," Hannah said, leading Harry through the potion farms where they grew Wolfsbane and Mandrakes. "The potion supplies we're producing will be enough to sustain not only Hogwarts but also St. Mungo's and other magical institutions."
Harry nodded, impressed. "It's amazing what's been accomplished here in just three months."
Hannah beamed. "It's only the beginning. We're planning to expand even more—especially the food farms. The fruits and vegetables are doing well, and the livestock is thriving."
The School & Library Town: Educating the Next Generation
Perhaps the most exciting development for Harry was the completion of the School & Library Town. The town was designed with the next generation of witches and wizards in mind—a place where children could grow, learn, and study at every level of education.
The town was home to multiple school buildings—ranging from early childhood education to more advanced magical studies. Each school was filled with teachers, eager to guide young witches and wizards through their academic journey. The central library was massive, with towering bookshelves and enchanted tomes that held centuries of knowledge.
As Harry walked through the town, he passed a group of students rushing to their classes, laughing and chatting. It reminded him of his own days at Hogwarts, and a sense of pride swelled in his chest.
He made his way to the library, where he met with Madam Pince, who had overseen the organization of the books.
"It's a wonder," Madam Pince said, her voice filled with awe. "So much knowledge in one place. The children will be able to learn anything they set their minds to."
Harry smiled. "That's the goal. Education is everything."
The Creature Villages: A New Beginning
Meanwhile, the creature villages that Harry had worked so hard to create were also starting to flourish. The werewolves, centaurs, house-elves, and other magical creatures had moved into their respective villages, finally having a place to call their own.
Each village had been carefully designed with the input of the creatures themselves, and now that they were settled in, they had begun to add their own touches. Centaurs had created beautiful, natural parks where they could run free under the stars, while werewolves had established safe areas where they could transform during the full moon without fear of harming anyone.
Harry visited each village, making sure everything was running smoothly.
Putting the Final Touches
After the tour of the towns and villages, Harry returned to Hogwarts, his mind buzzing with excitement. He was proud of everything that had been accomplished, but he knew there was still more to do.
In the War Room, Harry poured over his notes, working on the final touches for some of the villages that still needed completion. His biggest project now was Gringotts Village, where he was coordinating with the goblins to create a seamless banking system that would link the towns, subdivisions, and the newly created magical settlements. He also made sure that the doorway system was operating without a hitch, allowing Muggles and magical people alike to travel easily.
As Harry settled into his chair, Percy Weasley knocked on the door and entered with a stack of papers.
"Everything is moving along well," Percy said, placing the papers in front of Harry. "We're nearly finished with the final details for the villages. The inhabitants are settling in, and we've had no major issues."
Harry nodded, flipping through the papers. "That's great news. Once the last few details are handled, we can focus on expanding further."
Percy smiled. "You've done something incredible, Harry. These communities... they're thriving. People feel safe, and the wizarding world is growing stronger."
A New Era
As the day came to an end, Harry stood on one of the towers of Hogwarts, gazing out over the landscape. The towns and villages, now illuminated by the setting sun, looked vibrant and full of life. It had taken months of hard work, but the world around him was changing for the better.
The doorways, the villages, and the towns—everything was finally coming together. Magical creatures, wizards, witches, and even Muggles were living and working side by side in a way that hadn't been possible before.
"I never thought we'd come this far," Harry said quietly to himself, a sense of peace washing over him.
The world was changing. And for once, it was changing for the better.
