After the intense planning session in the War Room, Harry's mind was buzzing with the next steps. They had discussed strategies, gathered allies, and started planning for the inevitable confrontation with the Muggle forces. But before they could proceed, they needed more information about their immediate surroundings—Hogwarts, Hogsmeade, and the land that stretched between and beyond them. Harry knew exactly where to go to find it.

The Room of Requirement had always provided what he needed in times of crisis. He had used it for training Dumbledore's Army, for hiding the Horcrux, and now, he needed it for something just as crucial. With determined steps, he made his way through the quiet corridors of Hogwarts, thinking carefully about what he needed.

I need a map of the lands surrounding Hogwarts and Hogsmeade, he thought, pacing back and forth in front of the hidden entrance. Detailed maps, anything that shows the terrain and hidden areas.

After a few moments, the door materialized in front of him, as if the castle itself was responding to his unspoken command. Harry felt a surge of gratitude toward Hogwarts, the ancient magic of the castle always seeming to know what he needed before he even realized it.

He pushed open the door and stepped inside.

The Room of Requirement had transformed into a sprawling, dimly lit library. Shelves upon shelves lined the walls, filled with books, scrolls, and ancient parchment. At the center of the room was a large table, and upon it lay several rolled-up maps, their edges curled with age. Harry approached the table, his heart beating a little faster. He knew this was exactly what he needed.

Unrolling the first map, Harry's eyes scanned the detailed illustration of the lands surrounding Hogwarts. The castle stood proudly in the center, with Hogsmeade nestled just to the north. To the west, the thick expanse of the Forbidden Forest stretched across the landscape, and to the south, the Black Lake shimmered under the drawn sunlight. There were paths, caves, and hidden areas he hadn't known existed before, all carefully marked and annotated in neat script.

Harry could see how this map would be useful—not just for understanding the terrain, but for planning defenses, retreats, or even offensives against the Muggle forces. If the Muggles ever reached the grounds of Hogwarts, this map could help them navigate the land better than any Ministry documents.

He found other maps as well: one that detailed the underground passages that connected Hogwarts to Hogsmeade, one that highlighted key locations such as the Shrieking Shack and the Whomping Willow, and another that illustrated the magical boundaries protecting the school, showing the enchantments that shielded it from the outside world.

Harry smiled grimly. These would be perfect.

"Hogwarts, you've done it again," he muttered under his breath as he carefully rolled the maps up and placed them in his satchel. Before leaving, Harry spotted a small book titled "Hidden Paths of the Scottish Highlands" on one of the shelves. He grabbed it as well, figuring it might offer some additional insight into the less obvious routes around the area. With a nod of thanks to the castle, he left the room and made his way back to the War Room.

When Harry entered the War Room, the energy had shifted. The others were still there, but now there was a quiet focus as they worked. Luna and Draco were deep in conversation over another map, and Blaise and Theo were jotting down notes from several old books piled on the table.

Harry placed his satchel on the table and pulled out the maps he had retrieved. "I've found what we need," he announced.

Draco looked up, raising an eyebrow. "You've been busy."

Harry unrolled the first map, spreading it out across the central table. "This is the surrounding land. Everything from Hogwarts to Hogsmeade and beyond. There are more hidden paths and key locations than I expected, including some underground tunnels we didn't know about."

Blaise leaned over, his eyes scanning the map. "This is detailed. Where did you get this?"

"Room of Requirement," Harry answered, unfurling the second map. "It also gave me a map of the underground passages connecting Hogwarts to Hogsmeade, and this one shows the magical boundaries protecting the school."

Draco's eyes sharpened as he studied the third map. "These enchantments will be crucial. If the Muggles get any closer, we'll need to know exactly where our defenses are strongest—and where they're weakest."

"I've been thinking the same thing," Harry said, pulling out a notebook. "I'm going to start mapping out possible routes we can use, both to move people in and out of Hogwarts and to fortify our defenses. We'll need to know these paths better than the Muggles know their own technology."

He opened the notebook and began jotting down key notes from the maps—marking strategic points where defenses could be strengthened, potential ambush points if the Muggles got too close, and hidden paths that could serve as escape routes. Every detail mattered.

Luna, who had been quietly observing the maps, spoke up. "The land is alive, you know. Hogwarts will help us. The castle itself is listening."

Harry smiled faintly. He had always felt that, but hearing Luna put it into words made him more confident. "I believe it. The Room of Requirement gave me exactly what we needed. And if the castle's magic is on our side, then the land around it is, too."

Draco, ever pragmatic, nodded. "But we can't rely on just magic. We need strategy, and these maps are the key. If the Muggles try anything, we'll be ready."

Harry looked down at the detailed map of the Forbidden Forest, Black Lake, and the grounds that surrounded Hogwarts. This was where the real battle would take place. Not in some distant field, but right here—on the land they knew and could defend.

With that in mind, Harry bent over the table again, making more notes in his thick notebook. Every route, every cave, every hidden path was cataloged. This would be their advantage.

As Harry worked, the door to the War Room opened again, and he glanced up, half-expecting to see Ron and Hermione coming back to argue once more. But it was Neville, followed by a few other students—each of them looking determined, as if they had made a choice to stand with Harry.

"Thought we'd help," Neville said with a small smile, stepping up to the table. "Whatever you need."

Harry nodded, the weight of leadership no longer feeling quite so heavy. "You're just in time," he said. "We're mapping out the defenses. The Muggles won't know what hit them."

The room buzzed with activity once more as Harry continued working, surrounded by his allies—new and old. And with each note he made, with each path he marked on the map, the future became a little clearer. The land around Hogwarts wasn't just territory—it was their home, and they would defend it with everything they had.
