Agastya and Meera settled into a cozy silence. Their shoulders touched as they leaned against the bench.
Meera closed her eyes. "Today is perfect," she sighed.
Agastya smiled. "I'm glad," he replied softly. A gentle breeze rustled the nearby trees.
Meera opened her eyes.
"Want to explore Jaisalmer's market with me today?" Agastya asked.
Meera's heart skipped a beat. "I'd love to," she replied.

Agastya and Meera strolled through Jaisalmer's vibrant market, leaving Harshith to his relaxation.
As they wandered, Agastya's eyes landed on a quaint bangle store. "Let's see what treasures they have," he said, guiding Meera inside.
The store owner welcomed them with a warm smile. Agastya scanned the shelves, his fingers trailing over the intricate designs. Meera watched, fascinated by his interest.
"Ah, ye khubsoorat hai" Agastya exclaimed, holding up a delicate bangle.
(Ah, these are beautiful)The craftsmanship mesmerized Meera.
"These will look perfect on you," Agastya said, his gaze locking onto hers.
Meera's heart fluttered. But as she reached for the bangle, a memory surfaced. Her mother's loving hands placed bangles in her hand.
"Take them, Meera. You might need the money," her mother's voice echoed.
Tears threatened to spill. Meera's smile faltered.
Agastya noticed the sudden change. "Hey, what's wrong?" he asked.
Meera's voice barely above a whisper. "Maa..."
Agastya's expression softened. He enveloped Meera in a warm hug. "Everything will be okay," he whispered.
Meera's tears dampened his shoulder. "When will everything be alright?" she asked.
Agastya's hold tightened. "Soon," he replied.
But uncertainty flickered in his eyes. He didn't know when or how. Only that he wanted to protect Meera. From the turmoil. From the pain.
Meera pulled back. "Promise?" she asked.
Agastya's gaze locked onto hers. "I promise," he said.
His voice steady. Conviction etched on his face.
Meera's lips curved into a fragile smile. "I trust you," she whispered.
Agastya's heart swelled. He knew the weight of her words. And vowed to make it true.
Agastya's fingers wrapped around Meera's hand. "This bangle will look stunning on you," he said.
Just as he was about to put it on her wrist. "Karanveer kaka kaise hai?" Meera asked.
(How is Karanveer?)Agastya's brow furrowed. "Why bring him up now?" he asked.
Meera's gaze dropped. She hesitated before revealing a sacred thread on her wrist. "He gave this to me," she said softly. "For protection," Meera added.
Agastya nodded. "I didn't go to the temple. Armaan took Maa. I'll ask Armaan about Karanveer," Agastya said.
"Don't bother Armaan. It's fine."
Agastya's eyes met hers. "Okay." He gently took her hand. "Time for the bangles."
Meera's eyes sparkled. "They're beautiful."
