Next morning,
Agastya stepped out of the shower, feeling refreshed. As he wrapped a towel around his waist, his phone buzzed on the counter.
"Bhairav," he said, answering the call.
"Sir, hope I'm not disturbing you," Bhairav's deep voice said.
Agastya's expression turned serious as Bhairav's words sunk in. "Achintya's behaving badly with Queen Sumitra?" he repeated, his voice low.
"Yes," Bhairav confirmed. "Abhimanyu's concerned, but he asked me to keep Meera in the dark. He thinks she'll agree to marry Veer if she finds out her mother's in danger."
Agastya's jaw clenched. He understood Abhimanyu's reasoning.
"Achintya ke upar kadi nazar rakhna," Agastya instructed Bhairav. "Usse kuch ulta seedha karne math dena"
("Keep a close eye on Achintya," Agastya instructed Bhairav. "Don't let him do anything wrong.")"I'll take care of it," Bhairav assured.
The call ended, and Agastya's thoughts lingered on the conversation. He knew Meera would be devastated if she learned about her mother's situation.
Just then, Meera walked into the room, a bright smile on her face. "Breakfast is ready!" she announced.
But her eyes widened as her gaze landed on Agastya. He stood there, fresh from the shower, wearing only a towel wrapped around his waist.
Meera's cheeks flushed instantly. She quickly looked away, trying to compose herself.
Agastya raised an eyebrow, amused by Meera's sudden shyness.
"Sorry about that," Agastya said, chuckling. "I didn't expect you to walk in so soon."
Meera's voice was barely above a whisper. "It's okay. I'll just... give you a minute."
As she turned around, Agastya couldn't help but smile.
"Meera?" he called out.
"Yes?" she replied, still facing away.
"You're adorable when you're flustered."
Meera's cheeks grew even hotter, but she couldn't help smiling.
Agastya's chuckle sent shivers down Meera's spine. She felt her face burning, but she couldn't help smiling.
"Stop teasing me," Meera said, her voice playful.
Agastya's laughter filled the room. "Can't help it. You're too cute."
Meera turned "You're enjoying this, aren't you?"
Agastya grinned, his eyes crinkling. "Guilty as charged."
Meera rolled her eyes, but her smile remained. "Get dressed, please."
Agastya chuckled and obliged, dropping the towel left with only his tight boxers and revealing his chiseled physique.
Meera's eyes widened, and she quickly looked away, her cheeks ablaze.
"Agastya!" she exclaimed.
"Sorry, sorry," Agastya said, laughing. "I couldn't resist."
As Agastya dressed, Meera composed herself, trying to shake off the flutter in her chest.
As Agastya finished dressing, Meera turned around, her expression serene.
