As they entered the Singh Mansion, Meera's eyes scanned the room, taking in the familiar sight of the men lounging on the couch. But her gaze faltered as she realized that Agastya was nowhere to be seen.
Armaan, Sanjay and Govind were all sprawled out on the couch, looking relaxed and content. They were laughing and joking, clearly enjoying each other's company.
But where was Agastya?
Meera felt a pang of disappointment and curiosity. She had been looking forward to seeing him all the while shopping.
Smriti, Archana, and Karishma were all chatting and laughing as they made their way to the living room. But Meera hung back, her eyes scanning the room for any sign of Agastya.
Archana noticed Meera's gaze scanning the room, clearly searching for someone. She smiled knowingly and turned to Armaan, who was lounging on the couch.
"Armaan, beta, where's Agastya?" Archana asked, her voice gentle but inquiring.
Armaan raised an eyebrow, a mischievous glint in his eye. "Kaki, do you really think he came to play golf with us? He went to the office."
Archana chuckled, shaking her head. "Oh"
As the ladies headed upstairs to change out of their shopping attire, the maid called out from the kitchen, "Lunch is ready, sahiba sa! Please come whenever you're ready."
Smriti, who was already halfway up the stairs, turned around and grinned mischievously at Meera. "Finally! Main bhook se Mari Jaa Rahi hu! Let's hurry up and get changed so we can eat."
(I'm starving)Meera chuckled and followed Smriti up the stairs, with Archana, Karishma.
As they changed into comfortable clothes, Meera couldn't help but feel grateful for the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the Singh household. Despite the occasional drama and tension, the family's love and support for each other was palpable.
And as they made their way downstairs to the dining room, Meera's stomach growled in anticipation of the delicious meal that awaited them.
As Meera was changing, Agastya stormed into the living room, his face thunderous with anger. Armaan, who was lounging on the couch, looked up in surprise as Agastya bore down on him.
"What were you thinking, Armaan?" Agastya demanded, his voice low and menacing. "Accepting the deal with the Mehras without even discussing it with me?"
Armaan held up his hands in a placating gesture. "Arre, Bhaiya, shant ho jao. I thought it was a good deal. We need to expand our business, and the Mehras are willing to invest."
(Hey, bro, calm down)Agastya's face turned red with rage. "You know nothing about the Mehras, Armaan. They're not to be trusted. We can't just accept their deal without doing our due diligence."
Sanjay, who was sitting on the couch next to Armaan, stood up and tried to intervene. "Agastya, come on, let's talk calmly about this. Maybe Armaan was just trying to help."
But Agastya was having none of it. "Nahi, dad, baat sirf Armaan ke madad karne ki koshish ke baareme nahi hai. This is about the future of our company. We can't just make decisions without thinking them through."
(No, dad, this is not just about Armaan trying to help.)Archana walked into the living room, a calm and serene presence amidst the chaos. She took one look at the argument unfolding before her and sighed.
"Thik hai, thik hai, chalo ab lado math," Archana said, her voice gentle but firm. "We can discuss this later, when you have cooled down, Agastya."
(Okay, okay, now don't fight)
