"This is me," Tala points to her hotel ahead.

"Okay, let me drive through the valet," Lando says as his hands smoothly maneuver the steering wheel. "And here we are."

"Thank you," Her hand immediately went to the handle of the door.

"Wait," Her eyes squeezed tightly shut but she opened them again and let go of the handle, she turned slowly to look at him. Damn it, he looks good sitting in the drivers seat. "I need your number or contact, so I could tell you where to go tomorrow."

"Don't I just have to go to the entrance of the uh...McLaren garage?" He was starting to like this little thing she does, like the push back on taking his number was entertaining to him, "I remember seeing it today."

"Tala, just give me your number please," He had pulled out his phone, the screen ready to have her type it in.

She looked at his phone, a dark colored iPhone, it could also be considered Pandora's box too, she couldn't even begin to imagine what he had on there that was for his eyes only.

She tucked her bottom lip between her teeth, grabbing his phone, their hands touching for only a moment. "Okay, here." She returned it back to him once she finished and didn't bother to question anymore, even though she had a bubbling amount of them in the back of her head.

He tried to hide the smile on his face, he felt a little triumphant with this, he looked down at the numbers, four, one, five, his eyes then narrowed at the contact name, "You didn't put your name in, just a star emoji?" He looked up at her, she was looking straight ahead through the windshield.

"That's my name," He was confused still, she could sense it so she continued, "Tala means star in tagalog."

"Tagalog?" She could hear him shift in the leather seat.

"I'm Filipino."

"Oh," She couldn't make out if the tone in his voice was good or bad. Maybe he's disappointed I'm not white. It was silly of her to think that because when you looked at Tala she obviously was not a white woman. "You have to teach me more about your culture, I don't really know anything about it. Well, except your name now."

Her mind had rested from her previous thoughts, he had debunked her nerves and insecurities, it had annoyed and pleased her at the same time, "In time I will, but I am tired, I will see you tomorrow, thank you again for today, I had a good time."
