The next morning arrived. Konstantin got ready for the coming day ahead. He saw his phone vibrate. Afrim had just sent a schedule for his strongest subjects. He got lists for weaponry, martial arts, and art as major subjects. Afrim also sent lists for the other subjects, including complimentary subjects of his choosing.
He heard a knock on the door. Konstantin opened the door to find two musclemen with a box next to them. One of them asked, "Is this Konstantin Cuppleditch?" Konstantin confirmed his details. "Here's your order. Just ask your B.U.T.L.E.R to scan the QR code on the box and it will fix it up for you. Have a good day, sir."
Konstantin tried to remember how to summon his B.U.T.L.E.R. He knew Afrim raised his hands in the air, but then what? He did something. It felt difficult coming up with an idea. Then he it hit him.
He raised his hands in the air and snapped his fingers. His B.U.T.L.E.R arrived at his call. Konstantin asked it to scan the code, and it did that. It processed the request and asked, "How would you like to fit it?"
Konstantin asked, "What do you mean?"
"The blueprints have been installed on my memory bank. However, I cannot proceed forward. You give me a description of its arrangement."
Konstantin thought for a moment. "Can you give me a visual aid?"
"Most certainly. I can project these blueprints with accurate measurements, thanks to my projector." It went inside as Konstantin followed behind it. The B.U.T.L.E.R presented his new bed in the middle of the bungalow, with perfect details and measurements.
Konstantin looked at it and asked it to place the bed on the right corner, arranged vertically, with his pillow facing the back wall. B.U.T.L.E.R acknowledged his request and proceeded further with the building process. Konstantin asked, "So, what do you do?"
The B.U.T.L.E.R stopped and said, "I am a Burly Useful Tolerant Life Emergency Robot. I am designed to maintain your living space in your absence. My functions normally include cleaning, polishing and ensuring that your space is safe and pest-free."
"So, theoretically, you could defend my home from any attacks?"
"The chances of that are slim. But yes. I am also equipped with an array of weaponry. I can also have the necessary tools to heal you back to full health, should you ever feel unwell."
"Do you mind if I call you by another name?"
"An interesting proposition. What would you like to call me?"
"I was thinking ... Cavvier."
"Cavvier? Very well. You can refer to me as Cavvier if you wish."
"That would be great, thanks. As you were then." Konstantin left Cavvier to fix the bed for him. He watched as the sunlight danced off the polished marble floor. Konstantin thought about what he should do today.
He passed through the neighbourhood. Everyone lived their lives without worries. Some prepared to study and others went to enjoy the various activities. Konstantin felt a unique aura here at LIPS. Although officially a school, it did not limit its students' time.
He saw Kalim near the archway. Konstantin averted his gaze to avoid meeting him. "Konstantin. Good morning," Kalim said.
Konstantin was afraid to see him. "Good morning to you too," he said.
"I've been meaning to speak with you, actually. I just need a few minutes of your time."
Konstantin's bones shivered so fast it shook his muscles. He had a feeling about what it was. "Actually, I have a busy day ahead. I should get-"
