It was an early morning . Tanjiro put the basket on his back , leaving for his house .
"Be careful on the road , goodbye" saburo said , waving him goodbye .
Tanjiro started going up the mountain . He was near his house . when he paused , his nose picked up a smell .
"The smell of blood" his eyes widened and he started running to his house .
When he reached his house . He was panting for air . He saw nezuko lying unconscious at the entrance of the house , she was holding Rokuta protectively in her arms . The snow had become red with their blood .
Tanjiro throws the basket on his back and runs to them .
"What happened he---" he paused , when he looked inside the house .

He looked inside the house with horror . Blood was everywhere . His whole family was dead .
Tanjiro fell on his knees and looked at his family's lifeless bodies with tears in his eyes .
"*Sob* Mom -- hanako *sob* takeo , shigeru --- nezuko -- rokuta *sob*" he called their names , crying , his voice was trembling .

Tanjiro was running down to the town , nezuko was on his back . She still had warmth in her body .
'Only the nezuko body feels warm . If i take her to the doctor , maybe she can be saved --- Why did this happen?---Was it a bear? Did the non-hibernating bear come out?' tanjiro struggled to breathe 'I can't breathe . Breathing in the cold air is hurting my lungs . I must move forward . I must run faster' he thought , pushing himself to run .
'It's still a long way from the town . I need to hurry . I can't let nezuko die' he thought .
"Nezuko ---- don't die . Huff . Don't die . I won't let you die . I'll save you --- your big brother is definitely going to save you" he said , running and struggling to breathe .
"Gahhhhhhhh" Suddenly nezuko started growling and moving around with hostility , that made Tanjiro lose his balance and he fell off the cliff .
'Oh crap , i slipped' he thought , falling down .
Luckily , tanjiro fell on the thick layer of snow , that saved him . He was laying in the snow and taking deep breaths .
'The snow saved me . But i slipped because of the snow too' he thought .
"Nezuko" He got up and looked around , finding her .
He saw nezuko standing far from him , looking down . She was bleeding .
