Tanjiro opened his eyes and saw Nezuko lying beside him . She has a muzzle in her mouth . Tanjiro got up and looked around . He was in his house .
"Tanjiro?" Someone called him .
He looked in the direction of the door . He saw old man saburo standing there .
Saburo ran to him and hugged tanjiro . Tanjiro hugged back and started crying as saburo patted his back , consoling him .
After he calmed down , tanjiro explained everything to him .
"--if only i was here" tanjiro said , tears in his eyes .
"It's not your fault , tanjiro . Don't blame yourself , and i have faith in you and nezuko . She will definitely become human again" saburo said , looking at him and nezuko .
"Thank you Mr saburo" tanjiro thanked him "But how did you get here?" He asked .

But when I got there , i saw---" he paused and looked down "you and nezuko were missing . So , I looked around for both of you . That's when I saw that swordsman carrying both you and nezuko" saburo explained .
"And where is he now?" Tanjiro asked .
"We both give your mother and siblings a proper burial . He's outside at the grave praying" he said .
Nezuko also regained consciousness . Tanjiro hugged nezuko , and she hugged back .
"Nezuko?" Saburo called her , smiling .
Nezuko looked at the saburo and hid behind tanjiro . Saburo looked at her , confused .
"I think , she doesn't have her memories of being a human" tanjiro patted her head "She only recognized me" he added .
"Yeah--- that must be the case" saburo said , understanding .
Tanjiro got up and walked outside with nezuko and saburo .
The man was standing at the graves . He turned and looked at tanjiro with his expressionless face .
"Thank you" tanjiro said , his voice broke .
