Habitat: forests

Size: 7-9 feet in length(there tails are a decent length though), 3-4 feet tall at the head.

Diet: meat, berries, roots, nuts

Pack: 1-3 breeding pairs and their offspring

Babies: they are one of the few species known to have multiple at a time, commonly having twins. The babies stay in the pouch 3 months before first leaving. They usually aren't fully kicked out of pouches until a year old. They wean at a year old as well, but begin eating solids at 4 months old. They mature at 7-9 years old.

Lore: this species is closely related to plains dioyotes. They are smaller with longer fur than plains dioyotes and their fur is also usually darker. They live in larger groups than plains dioyotes.

Physical features: shaggy fur. Almost rabbit like ears. Excellent hearing and sense of smell.

Notes:
Have more docile temperaments and are most common to find in captivity

Lifespan: 70 years

Fur: darker browns, dark grays, tans, reddish brown, black

Eyes: greens, some blues, orange, yellow

Teeth: four sets. Baby teeth(completely hidden), juvenile teeth(show some), and two adult pairs (shows when they close mouth)
