A sugary delight with seductive scents.
Sweet as chocolates; bitterness subdued.
What is spring but a death that lures?Hands of a maiden drenched in yellow,
Face prettier than cherry blossoms.
Yet her heart so bleak, gloomy paracosm.A greenery that makes one weep
For the rent for the view is due.
Yet the heartless spring ornates intelf in dews.It mocks our misery and dances away;
Ignorant and rich, dressed to the nines.
It stalks us in our room; it enters its vines.It brings roses full of thorns; so sharp.
We all bleed to death before we could
present it to lovers that live far into woods.Spring so positive, Spring too positive;
Makes us aim for the gleaming stars.
Wrists cuffed by freedom, we become stars.A sugary delight with seductive scents.
Sweet as chocolates; bitterness subdued.
What is spring but a death that lures?~15/10/24 EH ©
