I stared at them, confused and curious. He called her mother and he looks more like her than the women who attended dinner that day. Why he started to become a mystery?.

“Welcome back, you should have informed me before you came here”. She stopped in front of us. “What am i? Your dog?”. My eyes snapped at him, caught off-guard by his reply. Isn't she your mother? Looks like a biological mother to me.

“No, you're my son”. She said, before her eyes landed on me. Giving me a smile, before speaking in a soft tone. “Nice to meet you, you must me y/n”. I nodded, giving her greetings before looking between them. The fuck is this tension between son and mother? And why does he glaring at her like that?

“Nice to meet you too”. I greeted her back, giving her a smile. He didn't say anything, walking away leaving both of us alone. An awkward fall between us before she chuckled, looking at me.

“He finally has you. He was going crazy these past years just to find you”. She said smiling, making a chill run down my spine. Whole fucking family is in this? “Let's get comfortable. It must be a long ride for you in heli”.

She said, telling me to follow her. I followed her in silence, looking at the mansion walls. There were parents of random things, a chandelier in the middle of the mansion.

“Umm…..is this tokyo?”. I questioned, hoping she'll reply to me. She was silent, before speaking. “I don't know the only thing I know that it's Japan”. She replied in a low voice.

Her reply made me concerned. Don't you live here? I was about to ask her more before Noah interrupted. “Y/n, sit here”. He said, taking out a chair at the dining table. I took a glance at his mother before waking up to him.

I stood beside him, slightly concerned about his mother's reply. Was she being held captive also? Or she never was told about the address?

“Sit”. His cold voice made me feel goosebumps as I looked back at him.
It was the same gaze.

All cold and full of malice.

I sat down, adjusting my dress. He sat beside me but it was the chair of the head one. Is he the head of the family? Hearing sole footsteps I looked towards them, seeing a man in his 50s walking towards us in a suit.

He has tattoos on his neck, well built. He's the carbon copy of Noah. Means Noah's real father. They were his fake parents and these are real parents. I was about to stand up but stopped seeing noah glare.

“You're finally here”. His father said, sitting across from him, without looking at him. “She's the daughter of Leonard Cohen”. He said, making me look at him. How does he know my father's name?

“Yeah, does it matter?”. Noah replied, coldly. “And she's already someone's fiance”. My eyes noticed his fist clenching, making me swallow. “Now she's mine fiance”. He said sternly.

His father chuckled, looking at him.

“You sure are following your grandfather's steps”,he said, picking up a table knife. “I was raised by him”. Noah replied, changing my plate with him.  Placing a plate of steak cutted in front of me, before he starts cutting the steak in the plate in front of him.

“Do you even know how hard I work to clear my name and you're ruining it again”. His father blasted, and I picked up a fork.

“And? Do I look like I care?”. Noah challenged, glaring at his father. Why does it remind me of my own family dinner when I had a step-mother?. Ugh. Can't I eat in peace? I picked up the glass of water, raising to my lips.
His father let out a laugh, making me look at him, concerned. What's so funny?

“Of course, a mafia grandson will always follow him and become a mafia. You're already a murderer, Noah”. I choked on my water, coughing lightly. Noah looked at me, giving me his handkerchief. “You okay?”. I nodded, giving him a thumb, fighting for my life, holding my cough.
