I used to let their words tear me down,
Every insult, every frown,
A reflection of a world so cold,
Where kindness fades, and hearts grow old.

They thought they could break me, piece by piece,
With every lie, with every tease.
But now I see, they hold no power,
Their voices fade like a passing shower.

In the rubble, I used to fall,
Shattered by the weight of it all.
But then, there you stood, so strong and sure,
A light in the storm, my only cure.

Though the world may turn its back on me,
With you beside, I'm finally free.
No longer broken by their hollow cries,
I rise above where true love lies.

They are not special, they're not worth my pain,
Their opinions like a fleeting rain.
What matters most, I hold so tight—
In your arms, everything feels right.

I focus now on what is real,
The things I love, the wounds you heal.
The stars above, the life we dream,
Together, we make the perfect team.

So let them mock, let them scorn,
In your embrace, I am reborn.
With you, I stand, through every fight,
The world may hurt, but you make it right.
