Mask Of God.She speaks of faith, of God above,
Of kindness, mercy, and endless love.
Yet with each look, each piercing stare,
She carves a weight I'm forced to bear."Only God can judge," she says aloud,
But still, she wears her judgment proud.
In whispers sharp, in eyes that trace,
Every flaw, each small disgrace. For what I wear, for who I am,
She finds a fault, a quiet dam.
Her words like stones, they cut, they fall,
Yet wrapped in grace, she knows it all.But I know God sees past the skin,
Loves me deep, through thick and thin.
So who is she, with voice so grand,
To judge me as if she's God in demand? She hides behind her holy shield,
While bruises I have yet to heal.
I wonder if I'll ever say,
That her words steal my light each day.But silence keeps me in my place,
Bound by love and fear's embrace.
