Ronwynn sighed contentedly in her bed as the sun's rays filled her room. She was finally free from having to remain in her room to rest. Stretching in her bed, she smiled at her painless back. According to the medics, she would only need to worry about some headaches and remaining confusion.

She lies in her bed soaking in her moments of rest. She looks out her window to observe the morning outside. The birds in the sky fly freely, flapping their wings and singing joyously. The songs fill the morning and motivate her to at least sit up in her bed.

After sitting up, she reaches over to her nightstand to grab the book of tales that she's been reading. The current one is about a town where women who go off into the nearby forest never return. It was quite interesting to Ronwynn because the women are turned into swans. Ronwynn theorizes that it was some tale that parents would tell their daughters back in the day to try and convince them to get married as soon as possible, due to only spinsters being victims of this spell.

"Strange times those were. Why would someone be punished just for not finding someone they would like to marry? Maybe no one in the village was good enough for them or already taken." Ronwynn mumbles to herself. A good portion of her morning is spent reading.

As she nears the next tale, there's a knock at her door. She huffs and places her bookmark within the pages. She sets it aside, getting up to open the door. The person knocks again, persistent. "I'm coming, I'm coming. It's not that late in the morning." She opens the door to see Aslocke on the other side.

"Hey Ronnie. I was just about to go down to eat without you." Aslocke smiles and goes to lean in her doorway. Ronwynn rolls her eyes and turns away from him.

"Just because you have the medics permission to give me headaches again doesn't mean you have to start before I can eat."

"I would say that it does. You don't have one all of the time now so I'd figure I could test your limits. Make sure that you're truly okay."

"Oh how sweet." Ronwynn replies sarcastically standing in front of her dresser. She picks up her brush and heads to her mirror. "So how was life without me for a bit?"

Aslocke walks into her room and sits at the table located close to the door. "It wasn't that bad, wasn't that good. Recovery was boring with all the medics coming in and out to give me those nasty potions. Being able to wander the castle and train after that was okay. Some of the other knights tried to start problems with me but Sareiros stopped it from going too far. I didn't really get to do anything other than that. I didn't have my favorite person by my side, you know?"

Aslocke watches Ronwynn's reactions as she brushes her hair. Her face turns a bit red and she continues running the brush through her blonde strands. "Well I'd hope it would be boring without me around. Who else would send you right back into a crisis?" The two laugh at that and then sit in an uncomfortable silence. Ronwynn finishes up with her hair and then heads to her wardrobe to lay out her clothes for the day.

"Do you know what they're serving today anyway?"

"Not sure, I just hope it isn't any form of oats or rice. Even when the medics said I was okay and sent me off, they forced me to eat the weird food."

"Oh Medeis, it was so bad. Did they make you eat that raspberry rice oat thing too?"

"The one with venison or the duck?"

"Ew they made you eat two different versions? Gross." Ronwynn finishes laying out her clothes and then heads to the door.

"I recommend if we're going to get there to eat real food we should head down there now."
