The Great Serpent, Jormungandr

PART 3

NARRATOR POV

Hel:crap,crap,crap,crap-!

Hel and Garm were running through the ship trying to avoid the two other Valkyries currently searching for them.

Hel:as long as we stay inside we should be okay-! AH!

They turned a corner and were inches away from Brunhilde flying at them. Garm was fast and knocked Hel down as the Valkyrie crashed into the wall behind them.

Hel:sorry! Thank you Garm!

They kept running and Hel smashed throigh a door thay led down. Jormungandr was thrown into a railing.

Erda:I came here for a fight! So show me one!

He got up before the railing broke. He ran at her as she flew to him. She swung her spear but Jormungandr slid under her and grabbed her foot. He swung her into the ground standing in the promise. He kept smashing her against the deck and eventually flung her up and into the overhang on the roof. She managed to get out and float mid air as she recovered but Jormungandr didn't allow it. He jumped up breaking what was left of the deck and tackled her throigh the overhang and onto the roof of the ship. They both stood up, Erda was about to start again but felt something warm running down her face. Jormungandr was smiling.

Jormungandr:guess you fucks can't heal quick?

Erda felt the blood on her cheek running from her head. She'd had enough.

Erda:I'm going to kill you. Orders be dammed...

Jormungandr:come on Valkyrie...thought you wanted a fight?

Below Brunhilde burst into the cargo hold. It was quiet, she didn't hear Erda fighting anymore. Brunhilde concluded that she must have won.

Brunhilde:your Brother has been defeated. Reveal yourself and we won't make him suffer

She walked through the cars, suit cases and boxes full of things.

Brunhilde:so what will it be?

Hel:neither

Brunhilde turned and saw Hel with her glowing staff. Brunhilde tried to step forward but couldn't. She felt something wrap around her legs and arms. They were chains, pale green chains.

Brunhilde:my Brothers still fighting. So will I...

She left with Garm following. They made their way up onto the deck but couldn't see Jormungandr or the other Valkyries.

Hel:where did they go?

A shadow went over her and she looked up. Jormungandr was fighting two Valkyries mid air as he fell. He was covered in cuts and stabs but he still stuck the landing.

Hel:here!

He turned and quickly caught the vile of Eriflower. He drank it and the cuts and wounds healed.

Jormungandr:thanks...listen I can fight one but not two. Anyway to seperate them?

She nodded.

Hel:I think I have something

Jormungandr:good cause here they come

Garm readied himself.

Jormungandr:we'll buy you time

Jormungandr ran and jumped attacking Erda. Garm pounced on Sigruns back but was quickly thrown off. Jormungandr and Erda both held her spear and pushed back against one another.

Jormungandr:you ain't that strong

Erda:your a novice with luck

Both of them head butted the other. Garm attacked Sigrun and cut her armour off as he avoided her attacks. Hel was channelling her magic through her staff speaking words unknown.

Hel:it's ready!

Jorm through Erda along with her spear in front of Hel. She spoke another phrase and Erda was trapped in a large pale green mirror cube. She was frozen it seemed.

Hel:I can old it but I can't move

Jormungandr:don't worry...it's all I needed

Sigrun threw Garm off her but when she turned Jormungandr's full force punch was waiting. She was sent into the deck and broke through it. She flew back up instantly only for Jormungandrs who was now behind her as she came up grabbed her wings and held her by them on the ground.

Jormungandr:let's see how well you fly without em!

He ripped her wings off. Hel dropped the spell and Erda looked around but stopped when she saw Sigrun with her wings tossed aside her like trash. She flew over snd knelt down. The door behind them flew open as Brunhilde came out.

Brunhilde:no...

She ran over aswell. Jormungandr walked back over with Hel and Garm. Erda saw him and got ready to fight again but she was stopped.

Brunhilde:another day sister

Erda:he ripped her wings off...

She tightend her grip on the spear.

Brunhilde:she'll grow them back...

She picked up Sigrun in her arms.

Brunhilde:let's go

Erda took one last look at Jormungandr.

Erda:I will find you and I will kill you

The two stated at eachother before she left.

Hel:you okay?

Jormungandr:yeah...are you?

She nodded.

Hel:we won...

Jormungandr:for now...they'll find us again

Hel:but how did they?

The eye at the bottom of the ocean opens.

Jormungandr:Asgard has eyes in Midgard...

He looks up to a cloud in the distance. It was the only one in the sky.

Jormungandr:we get off at the first stop

Hel:if we do we'll have to wait for another ferry to get to Norway

Jormungandr:there watching us. If we can lose them we can make it

Hel:alright...we should get there by tomorrow morning

Jormungandr:let's get some food I'm starving after that

They walked off.

Hel:they banned us

Jormungandr:I don't care
