You was on your third lap of your morning run.
You woke up early, and couldn't fall back asleep.
You stopped for a second and stretched.
You started to run once again, thinking about what's been going on so far.
You thought of ways to annoy Levi.
You finally stopped and took a break, you was breathing heavily.
You headed back to your room, had a quick shower and went for breakfast.
You arrived at the mess hall once again, and saw your squad.
You saw Petra happily talking to Levi, but it looks like he wasn't listening.
You grabbed a cup and poured yourself a some tea.
As you walked to your spot Gunter got up and hit your hand.
The hot tea landed on your hand and a burning pain grew in your hand.
You closed your eyes in annoyance and pain.
You quickly sat down, placed the cup on the table, and looked at your hand.
It was bright red and steaming.
"Ow" you said.
You grabbed a hankehrshift out your pocket and wiped the remaining water away.
"Er, sorry" Gunter said
You didn't say anything.
Hange came into the room
"Hello everyone" she said "erwin wants to finish that meeting"
Levi got up and so did everyone else apart from you and Eren.
Your hand killed.
"You okay?" Eren asked
"Yeah" you said blankly.
Eren looked at your hand, at this point it was still red but the burns would definitely scar.
You didn't want to have breakfast anymore.
The expedition is in a few days, you had no idea what it was and what it was like.
You got up to leave, still not deciding what to do.
"Oh um (y/n)" Eren said
You wasn't used to people calling you your name, but you turned around in response.
"Um Levi told me to explain the flares" he said
"Flares?" You questioned
"That's what we use on expeditions"
You sat in front of him and listened.
--time skip--
You was cleaning the stables with Eren.
You was ordered by Levi, you didn't want to listen to him, but you really couldn't be bothered to argue.
You was cleaning your horses stable, while Eren groomed him.
You cleaned in silence.
You bought the Wooden wheelbarrow full of the old straw out.
Eren looked at you, and walked up to you.
He grabbed a piece of straw out of your hair.
"There we go" he said
He turned around and right on time, the horse sneezed.
He was covered in horse snot and saliva.
You couldn't help it, you body did what it wanted.
You laughed.
You haven't laughed in ages, years in fact.
Eren looked at you, and looked a bit surprised even shocked.
You had a huge smile as you laughed.
When you finally stopped, you put your emotionless face on.
Eren smiled
"Wow I haven't laughed like that in ages" you said
Eren looked you strait in the eyes.
"You should smile more often it suits you" he said walking away.
"Tch" you said
