The Summer Court was just that, in constant summer. The air was origionally was stuffy when she arrived. A three day miserable trip being tossed around next to breads and bottles of alcohol ended when Adela swore she would never get out of here. But when she arrived she quickly changed into commoners clothing before dragging her trunk out and rushing to a place that was acceptable to be a visitor coming in. She even made a point to ask if there was any Inns. The female pointed towards one, the building being bone white like all the other buildings.

It was not an Inn. It was a pub with rooms above. Unsurprisingly a room was available, so Adela took the key and bid the male a farewell before finding room six. Once found she unlocked the white wooden door and pushed in. The room was small, but comfy. Some would dare to say homey.

In the middle of the room was a small blue table with two chairs, the kitchen sink, firewood stove and limited counter space to the left. To her right by the door was an old bookshelf that had homed a few old books. The the bed was in the far left corner, next to the door of the bathing room and to the far right was an old blue couch in front of.... A huge open window.

She walked over and looked out. The village was bustling with life, very happy life when she looked out. All the buildings white, some had accents of yellow or pale blue. Shops, fountains, children running, others dancing in the streets. They all looked happy, content, not a care in the world. Further out was the sea, the salty smell called to her. There was only one ocean in Ells and she only visited it once while on a mission.

But this ocean was so blue and so clear. She longed to swim in it, to live in it, to never wash out the smell and sand when she was done. Ships with white sails floated nearby, some commoners' ships and other trade ships. Along the beach she saw others swimming, laying in the sun, children digging in the sand. She stared at them for a moment and her heart began to ache.

Her father wanted to conquer this realm.... Including the Summer Court. She knew with out a doubt that he would never leave it how it is, children will never be this happy again. There would be no content or happiness like this again. Who cares? There are plenty of realms out there they could flee to. She forced herself to think. But as she backed away from the window, deep down she couldn't let go of the guilt.

It was mid day, no reason to start her mission today when she only had a limited amount of hours in this glorious sun that touched her skin. She hadn't brought a swimsuit so she walked down and scanned the shops, hoping there would be one with enough coverage for her back. Once Adela found a clothing shop she walked in and scanned the racks until she found one. The legs were left to be bare but the top had sleeves and no fashionable holes in the back. The buttons were also in the front, so it wouldn't rub uncomfortably against her scars.

She brought it to the counter and pulled out the coins. "Find everything okay? Pretty female like yourself and you chose this? I can help for something more.... Flattering."

"No thank you." Adela placed the coins down and smiled at her. But her smiled faltered when the female looked shocked. Could she tell that she was an outsider? The female look deeply in her eyes, at her hair before slowly taking the coins. "Erm, is there an area where I can change? And possibly get a paper bag for my clothes?"

The female handed a paper bag to her before pointing to the far back corner of the shop. Adela bid her farewell before quickly changing, the stare of that female made her regret not bringing any weapons. Not that she needed it but it was always more work to improvise.

But she made it out to the beach, the white sand burned her feet at first but she quickly acclimated to it as she walked to find a less popular spot. When she found one she sat her bag down before walking to the shore. The view was remarkable, so blue and bright and the smell. Adela could inhale it for the rest of her life.
