21 ~ Blame game

~ Neil's  pov

I tilted my head down only to find my Aaru peacefully sleeping at my embrace. My heart was thumping so loud after witnessing this debacle.

And others in the room had the same expression too.

I stayed in the same position for a while and then realised the frown in goenka men due to our position.

I was literally hugging her dearly in front of the whole family and the medical team. When I signalled at Bhai that she has passed out, kairav noticed it and came near me.

He tried to gently pull Aarohi from my embrace.

When I whispered that I'll do it, he gave me a death glare. Huh..!! Seriously.. what did I do.?

Why is he giving me that look as if I'll take his sister and run away.

It's not like that I wanted to hug her like this..?? Uh.. but I still wanted her to be in my embrace for some more time.

As he gently pulled her by holding her shoulder, Aaru was tightly clutching my shirt with both hands. And I think it was the world's most strongest grip ever, because kairav was struggling to pull in a gentle way but Aarohi's grip was unbreakable I guess.

"Uhh.. I said na.. I'll do it. By doing this she'll wake up." I whispered low to him.

He still shot me the same death glare. Before he could say something to me, Manish uncle came.

"Kairav, let him do it." He said to kairav.

As he hesitantly moved back, I gently lifted her in my arms.

I walked towards the bed and gently laid her on the bed.

I adjusted her dishelved hair and slowly removed the hair strands from her face.

I made her grip to get loosened by rubbing her hands against me. As it loosened, I gently held her hands and made it rest above her stomach.

Everyone there was standing still, and I noticed that vansh was standing there as if he was watching some movie. Asshole.! I thought.

After making her sleep I started feeling weird getting uncomfortable by everyone's gaze on me. As I moved away from her, suddenly she held my hand.

"N.. Neil.. please.. be with me." She mumbled in her sleep and my eyes softened by seeing her.

My other hand reached out her soft hair and caressed it gently. "I'm here Aaru.. I'm not going anywhere.. sleep." I whispered to her.

As her frown faded, I gently released my hand which she was holding. I wanted to stay with her more, but I guess everyone will kill me with their eyes on me.. especially her brother kairav.

As I came from there everyone's eyes were on me.

"Everyone please wait outside, Aarohi needs rest right now." Bhai said by breaking the silence.

And everyone's gaze on me flickered. Thank God.!  I thought.

As we all were out on the corridor of the hospital. Everyone was still silent of course after seeing Aarohi's condition they would be.

But this kairav.. he was still staring at me like anything.

Seriously.. what did I do. I hugged her because she wanted me in that situation. Yeah..  I wanted it too.. but he doesn't know it right.. then why is he giving me that death stare.
