26 ~ Falling for him

~ Aarohi's pov

Warm, good and relaxed. This is what I'm feeling right now after so many days.. soo many days actually..

Right now I was wrapping my arms around his neck. And he stiffened for a minute.

I rested my chin over His shoulder. After a brief pause, he wrapped his arms around my waist. My tears were long gone and I realised what I was doing. My brain stopped working and I sensed our heart beating in the same rhythm.

I don't know for how long we stayed in the same position , until I sensed his teardrops on my skin. My lips parted in disbelief. Is he really crying for me..?

He clutched the coat which I was wearing in a gentle manner and my breath caught up when I realised the proximity of our situation.

His face was buried into the Crook of my neck and his warm breath kissing my cold flesh

"Aren't you hungry.?" I asked, trying to pull myself from him or I might lose my mind

"No. Please stay like this." He whispered tightly embracing me in his arms. As if he was afraid to let me go.

Then suddenly my stomach started to grumble. And here.. we go with embarrassing myself in front of him.

He slowly let go of me and cleared his throat. "I'm.. I'm sorry." He said

"Huh.. no.. I mean.. it's okay." I mumbled feeling shy.

"Let's.. let's go out and eat something. I have found a place where we get nice food." He said trying to divert from the thick atmosphere around us.

"Haan.. let's go." I said averting my gaze from him.

The next second he held my one hand in his and wrapped his other arm around my shoulder.

"Let's go, Aaru." He said with a smile and I nodded.

We both were walking on the cold street some other people were also walking the other side.

As some group of people were coming opposite to us, Neil suddenly switched our positions.

I went to the other side and he went to the side where they were coming.

Ek second.. is he trying to make me feel secure. I know that mostly a husband do this to his wife. But why is he doing this with me..?

"Because he loves you idiot." My inner voice mocked me and I ignored it.

As we went and sat at a local restaurant, Neil turned towards me.

"Now tell me Aaru.. what do you want to eat.? It has been so many days since you ate proper nice food. So today there are no restrictions." He said to me.

"Uhm.. I don't know anything about himachali food. You order something na.. maybe I'll taste it." I said to him.

"Hmm ok then I'll order the most tasty food for you." He said with excitement and ordered so many dishes.

"Neil.. so much food.!! I can't eat this much." I winced out to him.

"I said na Aaru.. no restrictions." He said to me and served the first dish in my plate and I was literally gawking at him.

The way he make sure that I'm comfortable. The way he tries to comfort me everytime. Why are you like this Neil.. I was never nice to you. I've always been rude to you. But why do you care me so much. You really left your daily life and got me all the way here  to cure me. Why Neil..?
