29 ~ Will you be my Date.?

~ Neil's pov

Wha.. what just happened..?

I played her words again in my mind.

"Yes. You are weird because you are cursing yourself."

But I was cursing her future husb.. whoa whoa.. did she.. did she really mean.. did she really mean that I..

"What.. aah..!! Aaru.. this is not fair yaar.. after saying such a thing you went just like that.."

"Really.. did she really mean that I'll be her.. ohh my god.. someone please wake me up.. I can't believe it. I can't believe that Aarohi Goenka feels for me.. for ME.. Woohoo..!!." I screamed by spreading my arms and running around the terrace like a mad man.

When I hastily went down and ran to her department, she was already on duty.

If I enter the gyne ward, someone will definitely ask me questions. So I decided to confront aarohi tomorrow and went back home.

~ Aarohi's pov

My heart was running a marathon when the elevator closed. Since when did I become so bold to kiss him.

Well it was not a KISS... But still, I have never done even that to a guy before.

Ohh God.. how am I going to face him tomorrow, will he ask me out, or he will try to behave as if nothing happened..? God forbid.. if he dared to do that, I'll beat the shit out of him.

My thoughts came to halt when the notification pinged on my smartwatch that it's time for my duty. "Ahh.. a hectic night duty seems so difficult nowadays."  Maybe it's because I have someone to pamper me now. I blushed on my thoughts and went for my session.

Both Aarohi and Neil didn't sleep for the whole night.

Aarohi was on duty for the whole night, whereas Neil was not able to sleep after what Aarohi did to him.

He was rolling on the bed here and there. Not knowing how to make a move forward this time. Vikram was busy in Kashmir as he went to handle a special case there. He cannot ask vansh for an idea to propose to his own sister. So he decided to call advait.

Advait told him that there is a party organised at his place for valentine's day. And obviously he invited him.

Advait belongs to a business background family and these kinds of parties were organised twice in a week at his place.

Neil was confused why is he inviting him for a party organised by his father. Then he realised that he was trying to play cupid for Neil and Aarohi.

It was a valentine's day party so only couples were allowed inside. Advait asked Neil to bring Aarohi with him. So that it will be a perfect place and time for him to confess his feelings to her.

Neil happily agreed with his plan and was excited for tomorrow.

At morning 10.30

Aarohi came back home at early morning and she was sleeping soundly.

Her sleep got disturbed when her phone rang. She took her phone from the table, her eyes were still close.

She didn't look at the screen. She directly attend the call and kept the phone on her ear.

"Hello.." she said in a sleepy voice and heard a chuckle.

"Did I disturb your sleep baby.?" He said in a low voice. Aarohi's eyes snapped open only to look at her phone and it was saved as 'Chamgadhar Birla'.

"Aahm.. no nothing like that. What happened.. why did you call me..?" She said and her voice stammered.

"Uh actually I wanted to know that, are you free today.?" He asked her.

"Yeah. I work on your hospital. You know that it's my day off today." She said sitting by folding her legs.

"Perfect. Then be ready at 7.30 pm. I'll come to your place to pick you up." He said and Aarohi frowned.

"Ohh hello.. Mr chamgadhar Birla.? Aren't you getting too free with me nowadays.? I think hesitation needs you." She said in a sarcastic tone.

"Well yesterday, the chipkali didn't hesitated either." Neil said with a chuckle and suddenly Aarohi's cheeks turned red.

"What.. why should I hesitate aahm. Dr Aarohi Goenka never hesitates before doing anything. And."  She took a pause. "And I never regret too." She said and a smile appeared on his lips.

"Well, there is a party organised at advait 's place." He said to her.

"Then you go na.. why do you want me to come to your friend's party.?" Aarohi asked him.

"Well today, it's valentine's day. So it's a valentine's party." He said with a slow voice.

"So.." she said trying to act normal but her heart was racing inside.

"So.. only couples can attend the party." He said.

"So.." she asked with a smirk on her face.

"So.. Will you be my date Aaru.?" He asked with so much anticipation.

Aarohi's heart halted by his words. And she went silent for few seconds.

"Aaru.. are you there.?" He asked.

"Aahm..? Yeah.. I'll come. As your date." She said with a shy smile.

Soon a smile appeared in his lips too.

"Okay bye.!" She said and cut the call.

She kept her hand on her heart and tried to calm herself.

"Aawwwhh... Neil has asked me out.... Am I dreaming... No no.. aah I'm so excited. I've never been so excited for anything." She said by burying herself in her pillow.

Aahh.. what are you doing aarohi.. you are going out with Neil. You should go and do some skincare and makeup.

"What should I do now.? Should I go to a parlour.? No no what happened to you Aaru..? You're not that kind of person. And going to a parlour, that too for the first date, I mean it's not even a date. So I think I should stick with my normal makeup. But to look pretty, I should choose a pretty dress I guess. Whom should I call..? Akshu..? No no.. she will ask why, with whom.. I don't want her to know that it's Neil. If she gets to know, then abhimanyu will get to know, then our love story will end without starting. I think I should call Aashi. Yeah.. she might help me with it." Aarohi decided and then called Aashi to come over her place.

Here, Neil was no less excited either. He was flying around the home, doing Salsa with manjiri. And then, he was waiting desperately for tonight preparing for his much awaited confession.
