9~ Marriage?

It has been a week since Aarohi joined Birla Hospital and everything was going smoothly she impressed everyone with her hardwork and dedication

And Neil too was managing the hospital in a very smart manner.
And yeah he was trying to maintain distance from Aarohi too since he didn't want to get distracted from his goal anyways.. she was giving him zero attention

Here at Birla house manjiri was excited. Since she had talked with Goenkas about abhimanyu and Aarohi's alliance and they happily agreed to it. now, all she was waiting for, is Aarohi's consent

Here at 10.30 pm when Aarohi came back from her duty, at  goenka house the whole family was sitting in a roundtable waiting for her

Aarohi was suspicious, knowing that they have something to talk with her she slightly signalled vansh who was also trying to avoid aarohi

Then Aarohi got frustrated and signalled Akshara who was clueless about anything

What happened "aap sabko kuch bolna hai kya? " Aarohi asked breaking the silence (do you all want to say something)

"Actually we want to talk about something important to you aaru , but promise me that you will not overreact and give us your answer by thinking wisely " Manish said

Aarohi frowned at him"what is it bade papa? " She asked him

Well we have got an alliance for you. Manish said with calm demeanor

"What..!!? Are you serious Bade papa.." Aarohi asked with utter shock

"Beta please hear me out Fully, the boy is the same one whom you met at resort " Manish said

"What..!!?" This time Akshara asked with the same shock

"Birla family has asked Aarohi's hand for their elder son Abhimanyu " Manish said in a polite manner

A sense of shock washed both at Aarohi's and Akshara's face

Aarohi was still processing what her bade papa just said, whereas Akshara was still speechless

"We know Aaru , you have just now started your career and we'll not force you to get married. But it's just that we'll not get any better alliance for you than this and Abhimanyu likes you too " kairav said

"What.!? He likes me too.." Aarohi asked

"Yeah. actually he liked you in resort it seems, that's why he asked manjiri ji to send an alliance for you " Swarna said to Aarohi

"What..? he like me in the resort itself.. but it doesn't seem to me anything like that" Aarohi said to herself

"Don't take any pressure away Aaru,  just think wisely  take as much time you want and tell us your decision " Manish said

With this note Aarohi stood up from there and went to her room without saying any word. everyone went to their respective rooms too, whereas tears welled up in Akshara's eyes and she ran to her room.

~ Aarohi's pov

Right now, So much Confusions flooding over my mind

And right now I don't know what to say what to do or what to think even..

And here the word war started between my mind and my heart.

My heart: "Seriously, marriage now.. this was the thing which you never thought about in your life"

Just now you've started your career and someone wants to marry you now.. my heart said

My mind: And that someone is Abhimanyu Birla.. who is overqualified and you can't even reject him

My heart: But you should think about yourself na.. you never planned to get married at this age. at least not for next 2 years

My mind: But it's Dr Abhimanyu Birla who is perfect in all aspects and you always seek the best in everything

And you have got the best without even searching, so why are you even hesitating now? My mind asked me

My heart: But what if your marriage affects your career plans

My mind: The whole family is filled with doctors.. do you think they'll stop you or disturb you from becoming a surgeon? No right..

And moreover in what aspect you will reject abhimanyu.. he is handsome, rich, qualified and successful. he looks like a gentleman too. My mind argued

My heart: But what about L.. Love

My mind: Seriously.. you know that love means nothing to you. You've never experienced anything like that and neither you will.. So what are you thinking about ?

Not knowing to whom I should agree I shut them and took a long shower

After getting the hot shower I was lying in bed thinking about abhimanyu Birla

Does he really like me.. if so, he could've approached me or would've asked me for a date at least.  but marriage.. isn't it too direct. I thought

Aahhh..!! This is so confusing..

If he likes me.. he should've passed atleast any one signal right but he didn't..

We have been working on the same place from past week. I thought

Suddenly now he has sent a proposal.. that too from his family isn't it too much..

Or is it his way of proposing..? I got frustrated by overthinking

Okay I should Stop thinking about this for now. I said to myself and opened my iPad for my prep

At Birla house

Everyone were asleep and Neil came to the lawn area to see abhimanyu getting a champi (head massage) from manjiri

And Neil joined them too

" Well Bhai you are glowing today " Neil said in a teasing manner

"Don't get over excited Neil, we have just sent the proposal today"

"We still didn't get any response from them " manjiri said "I hope we will get a positive response from them" manjiri prayed

Don't worry maa.. we will get a positive response.  because I know that not just Bhai.. bhabhi was also interested in bhaiya

Ohh c'mon Neil  nothing happened till now and you are calling her bhabhi.. Abhimanyu said in a blushing tone

"Okay enough you both go and sleep " manjiri said and left

"Bhai don't worry I'm sure bhabhi will say yes " Neil said and left

And Abhimanyu nodded

Neil went to his room and was lying in his bed

In the whole world Bhai got to like Aarohi's sister ohh Godd..

I'm trying ways to get away from her and now we are going to be family friends too.. woww. Neil cursed his fate and slept. Not knowing the mistaken understandings happened between two families and two sisters

Here Akshu was heartbroken and slept by crying

Aarohi was confused about not being able to concentrate on her online lectures she slept by thinking about her life for a long time

Neil was thinking about Aarohi and he slept too

Abhimanyu was thinking how his Akshu will say yes to his formal proposal .
