Chapter 4
"We're excited to announce that the clubs for the school organization will officially open tomorrow. From that day forward, we'll begin organizing all activities."
We're currently in a meeting of officers, and we were so excited to know na magsisimula na bukas ang club activities.
Club organizations are really important in this time since they help sharpen the skills of students eager to learn beyond the classroom throughout the academic year. Those clubs can also continue all the way through senior high hanggang sa maka-graduate. And these include a variety of options, such as Mathematics, Science, Arts, Dance, and many more.
"Any questions or additional concerns?" tanong ng president. All of us shook our heads, indicating that we're all clear and ready to prepare for it. "Alright, thank you for joining today. Dismissed na po ang meeting."
Sabay-sabay kaming lahat na nag-ayos ng gamit. I felt a tap on my shoulder, making me look at the person who did it behind me.
I opened my phone first to check the time. 3PM pa lang ngayon, and wala naman kaming klase ngayon dahil remediation, ngunit sure akong mayro'n sa last period.
Tumango ako. "Sige, tara."
We both left the meeting room and made our way to the cafeteria.
They seemed to be soaking in the vibrant energy of the late afternoon. Some were playing tag in the open field, while others appeared to be having an impromptu picnic on the green grass. Everywhere I looked, there were groups of teens, enjoying each other's company and making the most of their time together.
Daena squinted as she tried to look at the open field.
All of them are boys, at naglalaro sila ng luksong baka.
She grunted.
She looks so done with her classmates, halatang kunsomisyon ang dinudulot ng mga kaklase niyang lalaki.
"Maasim pala, e." I shook my head, trying to refrain my lips from laughing.
"Sinabi mo pa! Ang sasakit sa ulo ng mga 'yan!" She crossed her arms.
She held my arm that caught me off guard. As soon as we arrived, pumila na kami para bumili.
We stayed here in the cafeteria to eat snack.
"Dance Club," I answered abruptly. I missed performing on stage with them. "Ikaw?"
