Jungkook strode into the room with an intimidating presence, his usually bright demeanor overshadowed by a stormy expression. The tension in the air was thick as he approached Lisa, who was sitting on a plush sofa, her earlier bravado faltering under his intense gaze.
Without a word, Jungkook closed the distance between them in a heartbeat. He grabbed Lisa by the throat with one powerful hand, lifting her slightly off the couch. The surprise in her eyes morphed into fear as she struggled to comprehend the gravity of his actions.
"Listen to me very carefully," Jungkook growled, his voice low and dangerous. "If you say one more word to Taehyung, I swear I'll make you regret it." His grip tightened slightly, enough to convey the seriousness of his threat without actually harming her.
Lisa gasped for breath, panic flooding her senses as she clawed at his wrist. The room was silent except for her muffled struggles, and the faint sounds of the busy city outside barely registered in Jungkook's fury.
"Do you understand?" he continued, his eyes burning with an intensity that sent shivers down her spine. "You have no idea what you're getting into. Stay away from him, or you'll wish you had."
Jungkook finally released her, letting Lisa drop back onto the couch as he took a step back, his chest heaving with anger. She coughed, desperately trying to regain her breath, her eyes wide with shock and realization of how serious Jungkook was.
"You think this is a game?" Jungkook spat, his voice sharp. "You think you can come into our lives and threaten what we have? You're dead wrong."
He turned to leave, but paused at the door, casting one last menacing glance back at her. "You have been warned. Don't test me."
With that, he stormed out, the door slamming behind him, leaving Lisa trembling in the wake of his fury. As she gathered her composure, the weight of Jungkook's warning lingered in the air, reminding her of the fine line she was treading in this dangerous game.
Jungkook returned to campus, a hint of relief washing over him after delivering a stern warning to Lisa. However, the cold war between him and Taehyung was far from over. He still felt a storm brewing inside, frustration bubbling just beneath the surface.
As he walked through the bustling courtyard, he spotted Taehyung engaged in conversation with a senior girl. She was leaning closer, her fingers lightly brushing against Taehyung's arm, and Jungkook felt a surge of irritation rise within him. Why do all these women seem determined to test my patience today? he thought bitterly.
With a deep breath, he approached them, his heart racing and not entirely from anger. He wrapped his arms around Taehyung from behind, pulling him into a tight embrace. The suddenness of his action startled the senior girl, who stepped back, eyes wide in surprise.
"Hey, Jungkook!" Taehyung exclaimed, momentarily caught off guard. He instinctively tried to push Jungkook away, but the grip was too strong, too possessive. Jungkook held on tightly, a silent statement that he wasn't going to let anyone else in, especially not today.
"Hey," Jungkook replied, his voice low and somewhat strained. He buried his face in the crook of Taehyung's neck, inhaling his familiar scent, trying to calm the tempest of emotions raging inside him.
The senior girl exchanged confused glances between the two of them, clearly unsure how to react. "Um, I should go..." she mumbled, stepping away, sensing the tension thickening in the air.
Once she was gone, Taehyung turned slightly in Jungkook's embrace, his brow furrowing in concern. "Jungkook, are you okay? You seem... tense."
Jungkook released a heavy sigh, still clinging to Taehyung. "Just a lot on my mind," he admitted, his tone softer now. "I don't like seeing you with other people, especially... you know."
