Taehyung paced anxiously in the dimly lit hospital corridor, his heart racing with every tick of the clock. Jimin and Yoongi stood close by, their expressions filled with concern. They had been there since the moment Jungkook was rushed into surgery, and now, the silence weighed heavily on them. Taehyung clutched his hands together, whispering prayers under his breath, desperately hoping for Jungkook's recovery.

Time seemed to stretch indefinitely until the automatic doors slid open, and Jungkook's parents rushed in. Their faces were pale, and their eyes wide with shock and fear. Taehyung felt a mix of anger and frustration bubble within him at the sight of them. He had always seen Jungkook's parents as distant figures, more concerned with their image and business than with their son's well-being.

"Where's Jungkook?" Jungkook's mother demanded, her voice trembling. Taehyung stepped forward, his emotions boiling over.

"How can you ask that?" he snapped, his voice rising. "Your son is in surgery right now, fighting for his life, and you act like you don't even care! Where have you been?"

Jungkook's father looked taken aback, eyes narrowing. "You have no right to speak to us like that, boy," he said coldly. "This is our son we're talking about."

"Your son?" Taehyung nearly shouted. "You didn't care when he needed you the most! You didn't even know he was struggling! You both just cared about your business and how he could be a trophy for your perfect family. You don't deserve to call him your son right now!"

Jimin and Yoongi exchanged worried glances, unsure of how to diffuse the escalating tension. They had seen Taehyung angry before, but never like this. The depth of his rage was fueled by heartbreak, and they could feel the energy radiating from him.

"We're here now, aren't we?" Jungkook's mother replied, her voice wavering slightly, trying to regain composure. "We came as soon as we heard."

"Came as soon as you heard?" Taehyung laughed bitterly, shaking his head. "You didn't even care to check on him, did you? He tried to reach out to you, but you were too busy with your lives to notice him falling apart. You don't get to just show up now and pretend you care!"

His voice echoed through the sterile hallway, drawing the attention of a few nearby nurses and patients. Taehyung felt his chest tighten as he recalled the countless times Jungkook had expressed his pain and loneliness, only to be dismissed by his own family.

Just then, a doctor emerged from the operating room, and Taehyung's heart stopped. The sight of the white coat sent a chill through him. He hurried towards the doctor, hoping for good news.

"Doctor! How is Jungkook?" Taehyung asked, desperation lacing his voice.

The doctor looked solemn, glancing between Taehyung and Jungkook's parents. "He's stable now, but he lost a lot of blood. We managed to repair the injury, and he should wake up soon. We need to monitor him closely, though."

Taehyung exhaled a shaky breath, relief flooding through him. "Thank you," he murmured, his eyes glistening with tears. But as he turned back to Jungkook's parents, he found the anger bubbling up again.

"You should be ashamed of yourselves," he said, voice low but fierce. "If you had been there for him, maybe he wouldn't have felt so alone. This isn't just about Jungkook. It's about your family, and how you all need to start caring for each other."

With that, Taehyung stepped away, letting the wave of emotions wash over him as he sank back into a chair, burying his face in his hands. Jimin and Yoongi moved to comfort him, but he felt a mixture of exhaustion and hope—hoping that Jungkook would wake up soon and that they could figure out how to heal together.
