Since Minho's unexpected reappearance, Jungkook's darker side had started to resurface. The possessiveness, the controlling tendencies, and the paranoia—all the emotions he had once tried so hard to bury—were slowly creeping back into his life. He couldn't help but feel threatened by the idea of someone from Taehyung's past, especially someone who had hurt him, lingering so close. The fear of losing Taehyung gnawed at his mind, no matter how much he tried to suppress it.

Jungkook didn't want to return to the person he was before—consumed by jealousy and fear, controlling Taehyung's every move. He had fought to overcome that version of himself, and he didn't want to feel trapped in those emotions again. But every time he saw Taehyung talking to someone else, the fear bubbled up inside him.

He tried to keep it all inside, to not let it show. He didn't want Taehyung to see how much it was affecting him, but that only made things worse. The more Jungkook suppressed his feelings, the more the pressure built up, straining his mental health. Sleepless nights, constant anxiety, and overwhelming thoughts of doubt started to take their toll.

Jungkook found himself spiraling, caught between wanting to protect his relationship and not wanting to suffocate Taehyung with his insecurities. He was walking a thin line, and the weight of it all was becoming too much to bear.

Though he wanted to stay strong for Taehyung, Jungkook feared that if he didn't find a way to deal with his emotions soon, he might lose control—again.

.

As Taehyung and Jungkook walked toward the campus cafeteria, Jungkook's steps suddenly halted. His grip on Taehyung's hand tightened as he scanned the room, his eyes narrowing. He noticed Minho sitting at a table, casually enjoying his lunch with a group of friends, laughing like he belonged there.

"Why is he here?" Jungkook thought, his mind racing. His pulse quickened, and that familiar sense of paranoia began to creep back into his thoughts. Minho had no reason to be at their campus—or at least, none that Jungkook could think of. Was he trying to get close to Taehyung again?

Jungkook immediately felt the urge to turn around and leave or confront Minho, but he held back, not wanting to cause a scene or worry Taehyung. Still, he couldn't shake the thought: What is Minho really doing here?

He pulled Taehyung closer to him, leaning in to speak softly, "Let's go somewhere else for lunch today. I don't like the vibe in there." He didn't want to explain the real reason yet, but his protectiveness was already bubbling to the surface.

Taehyung began to notice the subtle changes in Jungkook's behavior, his protectiveness evolving into something more intense. At first, it seemed sweet—Jungkook showing up early to pick him up after class, insisting on walking him everywhere. But it quickly became overbearing. Jungkook rarely let Taehyung go out alone, and when he did, he'd constantly check in, asking where he was, who he was with, and when he'd be back.

Jungkook's anxiety was unmistakable. He seemed on edge all the time, his gaze darting around, always alert as if expecting something bad to happen. Even during moments that should have been relaxing, like when they were at home, Jungkook couldn't seem to fully unwind.

Taehyung started feeling the weight of Jungkook's constant presence. He loved him, but something wasn't right. He could sense the underlying tension and knew it wasn't just about protection anymore—it was fear, bordering on paranoia. Jungkook's need to control the situation, especially after Minho reappeared, seemed to be taking over.

One day, as Jungkook waited for him outside his classroom even before it ended, Taehyung couldn't hold back anymore. He gently pulled Jungkook aside, his voice soft but firm.
