Lee Know POV

Minho had been feeling a mix of excitement and anxiety lately. Ever since he started talking to Mina, he couldn't help but feel happier.

"Minho, we need to talk," Han said, his tone serious.

Minho looked up, slightly confused. "What is it?"

Han hesitated for a moment before speaking. "I've noticed you've been a bit... distracted lately. Is everything okay?"

Minho frowned, not quite understanding. "Distracted? What do you mean?"

Han sighed, trying to choose his words carefully. "I mean, you seem to be checking your phone a lot during breaks at practice, and you're not as focused as you usually are. Is it because of Mina?"

Minho blinked, taken aback. He hadn't realized his feelings for Mina were affecting his performance. "I didn't even notice, I seemed that distracted."

"You like her, don't you?" Han asked, his voice low.

Minho hesitated for a moment before nodding slowly. "I can't help it, Han. She's different. She treats me like a normal man, not an idol."

Han clapped a hand on Minho's shoulder, giving it a squeeze. "I get it. She's cute, she's nice, and she's not starstruck. But you have to be careful. You know the rules. No dating fans."

Minho's expression darkened, a hint of possessiveness flashing in his eyes. "She's not just a fan, Han. She's... more." He sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I know the rules. I just... I can't promise I won't break them for her."

Han softened his tone, wanting to reassure Minho. "I'm just trying to look out for you and your heart. I don't want to see you get hurt."

Minho appreciated Han's care and concern. With a reassuring smile, he replied, "Don't worry, Han. I'll protect my heart like I always have. Mina is special, but I won't let it cloud my judgment or affect our work."

"Still, try not to get too caught up with your phone. We need to concentrate on our practice. Our next performance is just around the corner," Han reminded him gently.

Minho nodded and put his phone back in his pocket. Han hoped that Minho would be able to balance his personal life with their commitment to the group and silently cheered him on.

Later that same day

Minho was in the practice room with the rest of the members, working on some new choreography. However, his mind was occupied with excitement to see Mina again, making it hard to focus.

"Let's try it again," Chan said. "This time, make sure you get it right."

The music started again, and all the members moved in sync. But once again, Minho messed up. His feet got tangled, and his movements were off.

"Lee Know!" Chan shouted. "What's going on? Why can't you focus? It's not like you"

Minho's head hung for a moment then he smiled, "I'm sorry, Chan. I am a little distracted, it won't happen again."

Chan paused for a moment, then spoke gently. "Lee Know, we all need to concentrate on our practice. So, pull it together and try again."

Minho took a deep breath and nodded. "Okay, Chan. Let's do it again."

They started the choreography once more, and this time, Minho managed to focus and keep up with the movements. Chan's words resonated with him, and he gave his best effort alongside his team.

After practice Minho checked his phone, Mina had texted him, letting him know she arrived at her hotel safely and would send details later. Minho felt a surge of excitement but decided not to respond right away, focusing on spending time with his members, until he could see Mina later that night.

Mina POV

Mina arrived at her hotel room, dragging her suitcase behind her. She closed the door and took a deep breath, trying to steady her racing heart. The room was cozy, with a large bed and a window overlooking the city. She set her suitcase down and sat on the edge of the bed, pulling out her phone to text Minho.

"I made it to the hotel. I'll send you the details later," she typed, pressing send.

Mina leaned back, staring at the ceiling. Her mind was a whirlwind of emotions. She was excited to see Minho, but memories of her past kept creeping in, threatening to overshadow her happiness. She took another deep breath, reminding herself that tonight was about her and Minho. She wanted to focus on their time together, not the ghosts of her past.

Later that night, Mina and Minho had their second date. They had chosen a secluded spot by the Han River, far away from the prying eyes of fans.

The moonlight shimmered on the water, creating a serene and magical atmosphere. Minho had brought a blanket and some snacks, and they sat down, enjoying the peaceful night.

"Isn't this beautiful?" Minho said, looking at Mina with a smile.

Mina nodded, feeling her heart flutter. "It's perfect. I was so worried we'd be seen, but this feels like our own little world."

They talked for what seemed like hours, the connection between them growing stronger with each passing moment. Mina felt safe and happy, almost forgetting that she'd have to return back to Chuncheon and the memories there that threatened to consume her.

As the night grew colder, Minho wrapped his arm around Mina, pulling her close. "I'm glad we did this, Mina. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else."

Mina leaned into him, feeling a warmth that had nothing to do with the blanket. "Me too, Minho. This night is better than I imagined."

They stayed like that for a little while longer watching how the moon's light shined over the water. The quiet peaceful and romantic setting made Mina realize just how badly she wanted this moment to not end. But another thought rushed into her mind, one she didn't think was possible after the pain she had suffered. She pushed the thought and the idea of it out of her mind not wanting to get her heart involved.... Not yet.
