His fierce green eyes stare back at my hazel eyes, and I stare right back. Correction, it's more like I glare right back at him.
In my mind, I silently cursed Alejandro out for putting me in this situation. He always found a way to put me in situations where I had to be in the presence of his fucking asshole of a brother.
And in this situation, we glared at each other.
He narrows his eyes at me slightly and crosses his bulging arms across his chest. From where I'm sitting, I can see through the white dress shirt he has on, noticing the visible lines of his six-pack and the faint lines of his tattoos that stretch across, it seems, every inch of his skin. The dress shirt strained against his muscles, looking as though the seams would split open at any second.
It felt as though his husky voice drifted through every tiny corner of the quiet office. "Are you liking what you see?" His stupid smirk tugged at the corner of his lips as they revealed his straight, pearly whites.
"I don't actually. It's even worse when you always open your mouth and ruin the view even more with your personality." I wave my hand around in the direction of his body.
"Admit it," he taunted, "I know that you like what you see." His tongue darted out to run over his bottom lip, wetting it, before he continued, "Even your body agrees." His eyes dropped down to my chest, and his smirk never left his lips; it only tugged more on the corner of his mouth when I looked down.
Immediately, my eyes darted down to my chest to see that my nipples had pebbled into hard diamonds, pressing against the black tight shirt I had on.
Fucking betrayers. And they said 'free the nips'.
I was quick to retort, but the lie didn't sound convincing even to me, let alone to him. "Your office isn't the warmest," I said, though the air conditioner wasn't on and the windows hadn't even been opened.
I couldn't hear the chuckle he let out, but I could see his shoulders shaking and the slight shake of his head at my obvious lie. Although he let my lie slip, he didn't let the previous topic go. "I can think of a few activities that don't require any talking."
"I wouldn't touch you with a ten-foot pole even if you were the last man with a functioning dick in this world." I scoff while also rolling my eyes at his remark.
"So, what you're saying is that if we were on another planet, you would?" I leaned closer to him, but our closeness was limited since the desk between us separated us. I could see his eyes dart to the skin that partially exposed my cleavage.
Men.
"Oh, you have no idea what I would do to you." A soft chuckle escaped my lips.
He, on the other hand, leaned back in his chair, getting more comfortable. "And what are those ideas?"
