*a few weeks later*

"i don't know, do you think i'm overreacting?" i ask felix and hyunjin, the two of them sat on the floor of their hotel room, playing a game of uno. i had come in here to get a break from chan. things had been going well for us. he was super sweet, super caring, we even shared a few more intimate moments. but we haven't went further than making out. we really were taking things slow, but i couldn't help but be bothered at the fact that he hadn't taken me out on a date.

"i mean, we are in the middle of a tour. maybe he's just waiting until we're back home in korea." felix reasons.

"i guess so..." i nod, messing with the comforter on one of their beds. hyunjin's, i think.

"there's other things he could do though." hyunjin adds. "he doesn't have to necessarily take you out to have a date with you."

"what do you mean?" i ask, sitting up.

"i mean like he could order room service for the two of you, you could eat it on the balcony, you guys could watch a movie in the room. you know? like smaller date night things." he shrugs, not glancing up at me as he plays the game with felix.

"maybe he wants to do something more extravagant." felix replies.

"maybe. but after all you two have been through, a couple of cozy date nights wouldn't hurt." he meets my gaze this time, as if checking my reaction to his words.

"i don't want to push him. if he wants to do something more extravagant, i can wait." i shrug. hyunjin holds my gaze for a moment before nodding, and looking back down to the game.

"you can also talk to him. you know? isn't that one of the rules you came up with? to actually talk to each other if you have a concern or something?" felix cocks an eyebrow.

"yeah... you're right... i just wanted to make sure i didn't sound crazy before i brought it up to him. i'm the one that wanted us to take things slow." i shrug, pushing myself off the bed.

"you don't sound crazy." hyunjin chuckles. "it's a valid feeling. it's not like a date means he has to propose, or anything."

"i know, i know. thanks for listening though."

"always." felix responds. "uno." he smirks mischievously at hyunjin whose jaw drops in shock. it was clear he wasn't really paying much attention to the game, which was strange considering he always beat felix.

"i'll leave you to it." i chuckle at hyunjin's expression. "see you guys tomorrow." they both nod their heads, clearly now completely focused on the game as i leave their hotel room and head back to chan and i's.

he was exactly where i had left him, sitting on his bed, laptop in his lap, headphones on. his head bobbing to the beat i assume he was creating, one of his hands typing on his keyboard, while his other tapped a rhythm on his thigh. his brows furrowed in concentration. i chuckle, walking up to him and tapping his shoulder to pull him out of his trance.

he smiles, taking his headphones off and placing his laptop down next to him.

"what's up?"
