Chaper zero

Hi guys! So I'm not gonna give you the full cast and stuff cause I don't have enough patience to figure out actors for every character that isn't originally in the book, props to everyone who does, but basically the main character has brown hair & eyes, is around 5'4-ish, and I'll leave the rest up to imagination. Her name is Sydney and she has a dad kinda like Johnnys, but no one really knows that. Her mom isn't alive anymore. She hangs out with the gang, but not much, and when she does they notice bruises, but just assume she's clumsy or something. She tries to be kind, and sweet, and is a little bit of a perfectionist, and it stresses her out a lot. She has anxiety, but no one knows that but her. This is kind of just a basic starter, but all the rest of the cast is the same as the movie, if I feel the need to add extra characters I'll describe them first, but I don't really know yet, this is kinda just gonna start and we'll see where it goes.

Honorable mention to Jason Schmidt, who plays Sodapop in the Outsiders Musical, he's so fine and I was definitely thinking about putting him in instead of Rob Lowe, but in the end I decided I didn't wanna mess with the gang. Maybe I'll end up adding him as a diff character, because if yall haven't seen him, look him up on Pinterest. All my friends hate on him tho 😔. But I'm totally writing this whole thing while listening to the outsiders musical soundtrack, (I'm a huge theater nerd if you couldn't tell from my user) so go listen to it, it just got nominated for a Grammy. And if you already have listened to it, you would know that the name of this fic is based off of it.

This fic is gonna be about Dally and Sodapop cus they've always been my favs. Matt Dillon will always be one of my biggest celebrity crushes cause OH MY GOD. But I'll stop, and start writing I guess. If y'all see a writing/spelling error, call me out, PLEASE. I absolutely hate it when I see something spelled wrong, so tell me. No smut though, I can't write that and I kinda hate reading it, so sorry to anyone who wanted that. But I have no clue how this is gonna end, if it does, so comment if you want Johnny and Dally's story to change or stay the same, cause I can write it either way. I'll probably end up keeping them alive, I couldn't handle their deaths the first time. And for anyone wondering, the name isn't really from anything, I just thought it was kinda cute. The story is from her POV, and it's not really gonna change, so ya. This is basically just all my thoughts about the story shoved into one paragraph, so bear with me. There's a 75% chance that I'm never gonna finish this story but yknow, we can always hope for the best. Plus y'all, I'm kinda awful at writing stories, but that's the point of these, I wanna see if I can, and I wanna get better at it, so stop reading if it's bad I guess. You guys can always yell at me if I haven't posted in a while, it help me remember the story and write another chapter or something. This is also just a way to put off actually writing the story cause it's super intimidating and I don't know how to start.
