Chapter 10

(I'm sorry I've been gone for so long, I lost inspiration so I took a break. I'll also be trying to fix some old chapters, I started writing this when I was new to writing so now I'll try to fix up what I can. I can not promise it'll be perfect though.)

     Adaman watched as you played with your Eevee in the Obsidian Fields. The breeze lightly blows strands of hair into your face, you keep trying to move them out of your line of sight but it's a futile attempt. He chuckled and walked over before tying your hair up. "Here, that should make it easier to see now, darling." "Thank you, my love." You spoke as you nuzzled him softly. With him you felt safe, you felt free, you finally felt at peace like nothing bad would happen as long as you were in his arms.

     Neither of you were perfect, sometimes there were arguments, but you always came back to each other. You were both only human after all, but even with your faults, you always loved eachother and would never hurt one another on purpose. That's how love was suppose to be wasn't it, even when it felt like the odds were against both of you, the bond would never break or bend. You both look at each other with admiration and passion, wondering how you got this lucky to have someone like him in your life. You felt like you had been beaten up and knocked down by the world, but then he was there to pick you back up.

    He was there to encourage you and help you, he wished that he could get rid of all the pain and torment you felt but he knew he couldn't. All he could do was be there for you and ensure that no matter what everything would be okay, and to you that was enough. To just feel supported and loved by someone was enough. To Adaman you are his angel, his lover, but to you, Adaman was your savior, the one who brought back light to the darkness that the world had pulled you into. You embraced Adaman, holding him tightly

      "Come on princess, it's getting close to dinner time and if we get back late, your siblings are gonna throw a fit." Adaman said as he held your hand, gently guiding you back to your home. "Okay, come on Eevee." Your Eevee chirped happily and followed you happily, their tail wagging as they walked beside you. When you made it back, Adaman prepared a bath for you. "You get cleaned off love, you're covered in dirt, I'll make dinner." Adaman said as he walked back to the kitchen. Your Eevee jumped into the bath with you, they did it every time but it still surprised you. You pet behind their ear as you soaked in the bath, feeling calm and content.
