Her dazzling eyes mesmerize me, even on our wedding night.
Her trembling, bow-shaped lips, waiting for my kiss, drive me mad.
Her fidgeting fingers should have been intertwined with mine, filling the gaps perfectly.
But I am an ogre with a shattered heart.
I broke my Tara's heart— pushing her from the bed,
forcing her to sleep on the cold floor.
Her soft whimper wreaked havoc inside me.
I am a cranky, mad man, breaking the hearts of those I love.

TARA's POV

I closed Ishaan's diary as I saw Rivan approaching with sandwiches in hand

I closed Ishaan's diary as I saw Rivan approaching with sandwiches in hand. For the past three days, I had been reading his diary like a novel, fully dedicated and passionate.

These three days, I realized that Ishaan didn't hate me. But I still couldn't figure out why he had distanced himself from me.

"Shall I drop you at the office?" Rivan asked.

I nodded, taking a bite of the sandwich he had prepared.

"Did you see Dhruv's Insta story? He posted a snap of his hockey practice session." Rivan tapped on his phone.

"No, I was busy reading the diary," I muttered, turning on the mobile data on my phone.

A notification made me blink twice. I opened my Instagram account. I was spellbound to know Ishaan sent me a follow request on Instagram.

"Oh my god!" I gasped.

"What happened?" Rivan asked, grabbing the phone from me.

Rivan smirked, glancing between me and the phone.

"The kiss is the reason for the following request," Rivan teased, handing over the phone back to me.

I gave him an unbelievable look as Rivan giggled while I pouted, finishing my sandwich. I'm not going to accept Ishaan's follow-up request.

For three years, I was with him, and he never bothered to send me one. But I had sent a request the day after our wedding, and he yelled at me, refusing to accept it.
