Life has its ups and downs,
A tiny stir with Tara brings a heavy blow soon.
Everything was fine when we came home,
But then my family caused it all to collapse.I can't imagine being alone in this room again.
My heart shattered when Tara echoed my own words,
Her parting reply shook me, made me see—
Even her smallest silence can quake my world.I couldn't bear what she said to me,
Yet how did her fragile heart endure my cruelty? The truth is, I think of Tara every hour,
Every minute, every second, every heartbeat.
I live for her, but I bury my emotions.
I don't deserve her forgiveness.Today, I learned her anger at me
Can make my heart weep.- from Ishaan's diary written at present.
TARA'S POV
I opened my eyes when I felt someone singing near my chest. At first, I thought it was just the alarm from my phone.
I snoozed it and decided to sleep for ten more minutes. I shut my eyes again for a quick nap.
I have the special ability to snooze alarms five times and still fall asleep, which some call lazy, but I consider it a power nap.
I felt something heavy on my legs. I couldn't move them.
Are my legs paralyzed?
This time, I opened my eyes to check the ceiling above me. I lifted my upper body, still unable to move my legs.
To my surprise, Ishaan was in the guest room, sitting on the floor beside the bed. His left hand was resting on my knees, his face pressed against the bridge of my legs. He was snoring, but the sound stopped when I moved.
I tried to pull away, but Ishaan snuggled closer. The skin-to-skin contact gave me goosebumps.
His warm breath on the bridge of my legs sent a shiver through me, and when his lips brushed the lower part of my legs, I found myself breathing hard.
