Everyone loves Dhruv— but I hate him

Everyone loves Dhruv— but I hate him.
My cousin, probably an unwanted cousin.

He can make anyone laugh with his charm,
Manipulate minds with his wit,
Extort my Tara in the name of affection.

Though Tara married me,
Her bond with Dhruv was special—
And I loathe it.

Tara spends all her time with Dhruv,
Planting an inferiority complex in me.
Am I not handsome?
Am I not talented?
Am I not good enough for her?

Maybe, I'm not perfect for Tara.
But neither is Dhruv.
I hate their friendship.

Tara's POV

I was sitting on the sofa in my house with a glum face as Rivan was trying to explain something to Dhruv, sitting beside me

I was sitting on the sofa in my house with a glum face as Rivan was trying to explain something to Dhruv, sitting beside me. Dhruv poured out his complaints that we didn't spend time with him.

"Today, I had a victory. It would be the best day if you had shared my happiness on the field. You left me alone," Dhruv's voice melted me.

"Stop talking like that. You're not alone. There were 1,000 people in the stadium," Rivan murmured.

"Shut up, Rivan. The post on your Instagram clearly shows that you've forgotten about our 'Star' team," Dhruv yelled, making me bewildered.

"What post?" I blinked at Rivan as Dhruv was busy tapping on his phone.

"Holy crap! Rivan, you collaborated with Ishaan and Mahira for the post," Dhruv's complaining tone exhausted me.

"You too, Tara?" Dhruv exhaled as I grabbed Rivan's phone.

Ishaan had posted a picture of us when we played the archery game.

Mahira tagged me and collaborated with Ishaan and Rivan to post a picture of us together near the cotton candy shop.

I realized, with Aravind's help, that Ishaan had taken this picture and posted it on his account.

"Dhruv..." I shuddered when Dhruv interrupted.
