Cameron's POV
Cameron: Age 10
Charlie: Age 4
"Come on, Charlie!" I call to my little brother. His little legs make it hard to keep up with me, but I try to go slow enough for him to keep up.
"Cammie!" He cries as he tumbles on the ground. He scraped his little knee.
"Oh, Bud!" I run back to him and pick him up. "It's okay!" I kiss his knee. "How about a piggy back ride?"
"Yeah!" He cheers.
I run off with him on my back, giggling the whole way back to the house. I have my own grin threatening to split my face in half.
Cameron: Age 12
Charlie: Age 6
"Charlie, stay back for now." My instructor, Angela says. "Cameron is practicing his Watercraft."
"But I wanna watch!" Charlie whines.
"Charlie, listen to Miss Angela." I look at his sad face. "I don't want you to get hurt."
"Fine." He pouts.
I work with Miss Angela as she teaches me to get more intune with my Magic and work with the stream next to us.
Evie has been working with Mr. Ambrose to learn her Earthencraft, as she has an Earth Affinity. Miss Angela works closely with water, so she's been helping me with my Water Affinity.
As I twist the stream around in the air, watching the fish swim in it, I hear Charlie sniffle. I gently place the water back in its earthly home, and take a small piece and twist it into a small frog and freeze it before sending it to land in Charlie's lap.
He shrieks at the cold before giggling. "Cammie!" He yells.
"Yes, Little Frog?" I grin at him.
"Can we watch movies when you're done?" He grins back.
"Of course!" I chuckle, then turn back to Miss Angela, as she instructs me in our lesson.
Cameron: Age 16
Charlie: Age 10
"Cammie, can I come with you?" He sticks out his lip and pouts at me.
"I'm sorry, Bud. But I have to do my license test alone. You can sit with Papa in the DMV while you wait though." I kiss his head. "Just don't miss me too much, okay?"
"I always miss you." He mumbles into my chest.
"I always miss you too, Bud." I stroke his dark hair he got from Papa. "But we have to follow the rules." I kiss his head as he holds me tightly.
"The rules are stupid." He growls.
"I agree. But we still gotta follow them." I chuckle. "Sit with Papa, I'll be back soon." I leave him with Papa and walk out the door to take my test. My wolf, Harlow, whines as we do.
We shouldn't have to leave him. He whines.
I don't want to either. I snap. You know I love Charlie. But we can't have anyone in the car while we take the test.
Thankfully, the test doesn't take long, but Charlie is a weeping mess when we get back.
"You were gone for so long!" He cries into my arms.
"I'm sorry, Bud." I kiss his head. "But guess what?"
He looks up at me. "What?"
"Now we can go for ice cream whenever we want!" I show him my new license.
