Cameron's POV
I lay watching my sleeping Mate in our bed. He's so beautiful. His lashes lay against his cheeks, and his perfect mouth is set in a slight pout. I gently stroke his cheek before sliding out of bed to grab something to eat. I kiss his forehead and a smile grows on his lips.
"I love you, Baby." I whisper.
I grab a pair of sweats and make my way downstairs to grab food from the kitchen. I'm just grabbing a loaf of bread to make sandwiches for us, when I hear someone enter the kitchen.
"Well... It's about time, isn't it?" Papa chuckles.
"Hey, Papa." I grin at him. "Yeah, I'm a bit hungry."
"You dork." He laughs. "That's not what I was talking about." He looks pointedly at my neck, where Charlie's Mark and some love bites are. "That's what I'm talking about."
"Oh." I laugh nervously. "I didn't know you were home yet."
"I got back a little bit ago." He chuckles, sitting on a stool at the kitchen island. "Thank the Goddess, it wasn't your sister. She wouldn't have been so kind to leave you in silence without picking on you. I always knew that boy had a set of lungs on him."
"I know." I laugh.
Cammie? Where are you? I hear Charlie's voice link me.
Hey, Baby. I'm just downstairs getting us some sandwiches. I reply, a grin growing on my face.
Okay. He sends back, and I can feel the love surging through our Bond. With cheese and pickles?
Anything you want, Baby. I reply, sending love to him.
"I love seeing that grin on your face, Pup." Papa sighs. "I'm sure your dad and I have the same one when we talk to each other." He pauses. "When he's not letting the little ones glitter bomb my perfect house." He laughs with a groan. It was a bitch and a half getting the glitter cleaned up.
"Papa, I love you and Dad." I lean on the counter. "I do wish we got more time to know our other dads, but I really am thankful that we got to stay with you."
"Me too, Cam." He smiles at me. "Best get your sandwiches done. Your Mate is going to be hungry."
"Yep." I laugh, as I finish up our sandwiches. "That man is a minx in kitten's clothing."
"I don't need to know that, Cam, thanks." Papa playfully groans.
"Hey. We hear about you and Dad all the time." I laugh at him.
"Okay, but we're the parents. So it's different." He laughs at me smugly.
"Different, my ass." I snort. "Are you home for the night? Or are you going back out?"
"Home for the night, Pup." He laughs. He winks. "So keep it down."
"Ugh, Papa." I groan, picking up the tray with the food for Charlie and I. "I love you, but seriously... Go out. Do something with your Mate. Play with the kids. Something."
"Nah." He laughs. "And when Charlie and I get settled on a design, we'll get your house built, and you won't have to worry about your parents and siblings in the house."
"Well, then." I chuckle. "Charlie will be at work tomorrow." I start leaving the kitchen. "Night, Papa."
"Night, Pup." He laughs.
I make my way up the stairs and get to our door. "Charlie, can you get the door, Babe? My hands are full."
I'm answered by him pulling the door open and grabbing the tray from me. He sets it on the dresser and pulls me in for a kiss.
