Ashton's POV

Charlie had another episode this morning. I hated watching him suffer like that the last few years. He would scream for Cameron and tear the house apart. When he finally realized Cameron wasn't home, he'd fall apart and pass out. That was when we'd carry him to bed. This morning, Evie had found him before he got too far.

I groan softly, rubbing my temples.

"What's wrong, Pup?" Dad asks, as he sets down a stack of papers on my desk.

"I'm just worried." I sigh, looking at the amount of incoming paperwork.

"Why?" He says, sitting at his desk.

"Charlie had another episode this morning, Dad." I look at him seriously.

"I know." He sighs. "But since Cameron is back, maybe it will get easier for him."

"I hope so." I get started on my stack of papers. "Hey Dad?" I look up at him.

"Yeah?" He's focused on his work. He only looks up when I've stayed quiet for a bit. "What's on your mind, Pup?"

"Let's put together that party." I smile at him.

"The one for unmated Wolves?" He tilts his head. "Sure. When do we want to do that?"

"I was thinking maybe a few weeks? And maybe we could invite the surrounding Packs' unmated Wolves, too." I'm hoping I can find my own mate there.

I really hope so. Benji sighs. I don't want to have to wait years for our Mate.

Me either, buddy. I sigh.

"Let's get a proposal drawn up, and submit it to Alpha Stacy." He grins. "Maybe you and your sister will get lucky."

"Let's hope so." I chuckle.

We set to filling out the paperwork for a gathering. There would be a lot to set up. The catering, the decorating, the entertainment, plus the transportation for the Wolves from the other Packs.

"Dennis!" I hear Alpha Stacy's voice from the doorway, just as she opens it. "What's this about a gathering?"

"Oh, hey, Stace!" Dad grins at her.

A lot of the older Alphas are stickers for the rules, but Alpha Stacy lets the leadership just call her by her name. She has the rest of us just call her 'Alpha Stacy' instead of 'Alpha Jenkins' like her dad.

"So, my boy and I were thinking of putting together a mixer of sorts for unmated Wolves in the area. Inviting other Packs and whatnot." Dad smiles at her. "What'cha think?"

Alpha Stacy is quiet for a moment, then smirks at him. "Sounds great."

"Awesome!" I grin at them. "I've got most of the paperwork filled out. I just need to make invitations to the other Packs."

"Don't forget to add Wild Forest to your list." She smiles. "Alpha Juergens didn't spend all that time rebuilding to be left out. He still has a small Pack, but we need to include him."

"Yes, Alpha." I smile at her. "My brother and sister were from that Pack. I'm sure they'd be happy to hear it's being built up again."

"Good work, boys." She smiles. She heads out of the office only stopping to give us a quick farewell wave.

Over the next couple days, we get everything put together. It was a lot, but I really enjoyed it. The food was secured, the entertainment was secured, all the neighboring Packs had agreed. We were expecting them in the next few hours now.
