This story is set in the forbidden cities with no lost cities (basically just our own normal world :) enjoy!) also side characters will be introduced throughout the story! Okay just one more thing before the story starts, this chapter is taking place in primary school/elementary school, (THIS IS GOING BY AUSTRALIAN SCHOOL LEVELS IF YOU ARE UNSURE HERE ARE THE LEVELS BELOW)

OK LET'S FINALLY START!

sophie pov

First day of Year 6

I walked through the school gates and into  my classroom. This is it, my final first day of primary school then I'll be off to high school! I found my friends, Biana and Linh, and we instantly asked each other which class we were in. Sadly none of us were in the same class, so we departed to find our class and see who our classmates were, I was a bit sad to not be with 2 of my best friends for my final year of primary school since we were all going to different high schools. I was lost in my thoughts when suddenly some familiar voices called my name...

"Hey Sophie! Over here! Are you in 5/6A?"

I looked up and saw Tam and Fitz shouting and waving madly at me,

"Yes! I am!! Wait are you guys also in 5/6A??" I replied

They cheered and shouted "YES!!" I was overjoyed! At least I had two other best friends I could be in the same class with. I ran over to them and we started talking about where we were going to sit while waiting to see our other classmates.

Tam pov

I was talking to Fitz, one of my best friends, when I saw the most gorgeous, lushious blonde hair walking towards the classroom I was in front of, I then realised, it was Sophie, my girl best friend!

*She's so cute... but she's my girl best friend and she probably likes someone else like that Keefe... well a boy can dream right?* I thought.

"Hey Fitz! I spy Sophie headed here!"  I look towards her and point then realise her head is down,

*she must be upset... I wonder why though, she's always loved school as much as she loves the holidays! I'll ask her later.*

I signal Fitz and we both shout while waving,

"Hey Sophie! Over here! Are you in 5/6A?"

She looks up and replies,

"Yes! I am!! Wait are you guys also in 5/6A??"

 We shout,

"YES!!"

and the 3 of us cheer,

*that's good, she's smiling again! Her smile is so cute*

I blush at the thought then run towards her.

Fitz pov

I was having a very good chat with Tam about roblox when he suddenly informed me that Sophie was headed towards us! I looked over at him and he seems to be daydreaming.

*I wonder when they'll realise they like each other! It's so cute their oblivion to their feelings, I ship them! What's a ship name for them?? Maybe Sotam! That's perfect I need to let Grace know  she's also our (me, Tam, Sophie) best friend but she's not here yet but I saw her message earlier saying she was also in 5/6A*

I look back at Tam and finally he's not daydreaming! He gives me a look and we shout,

"Hey Sophie! Over here! Are you in 5/6A?"

She looks up and replies,

"Yes! I am!! Wait are you guys also in 5/6A??"

 We shout,

"YES!!"

Hopefully I can get Sotam together with the help of Grace! Hopefully by the end of the year. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Sophie running towards us then a moment later Tam starts running towards her. I stay and wait for them to come lost in thoughts of how I can get them together.

After Tam and Sophie and I gather we instantly start talking and asking questions about our holidays.

Sophie pov

We were talking peacefully when suddenly a pair of hands got placed on my shoulders and I got scared falling forwards. More specifically falling forwards right into Tam..
Lucky for me his reflexes work for like the first time and he caught me. I quickly thank him blushing then get off him which cleared my blush. After, I turned around and saw Keefe smirking right at me.

"So, you're in 5/6A? Same here." he said pulling me closer

"Yep, and no more jumpscares! You had your chance in year 2!" I replied, my cheeks blushing again.

"You like Tam don't you." Keefe whispers to me

"What do you mean? I like him as a best friend, everyone knows that." I whisper back

"Yep everyone knows, but I know that he has a huge crush on you, everyone knows! Oh and because I told you this you owe me a favour!" Keefe whispers and I glare at him, then wriggle out of his super firm grip.

*Darn, I don't like him but he was still so annoyingly cute... oh wait he's also super annoying... ugh stupid cheeks* I thought then turning around and talking to Tam and Fitz. While talking to them the memory of when I first met them replayed in my mind...

Tam pov

We were just talking and standing in a triangle not leaving anyone out when suddenly Keefe sneaks up behind Sophie and scaring her causing her to fall forwards into my arms. I blushed and caught her.

*Thank you reflexes for working when I needed it! That annoying Keefe!*

I stop my thoughts and look at Keefe, about to glare at him for scaring her then realising he was pulling Sophie in. I was about to stop him when he whispers something in her ear and she replies then he replies back once more then Sophie wriggles out of his grip.

*They are perfect for each other... But she's so adorable!"

We continue our conversation.
