"This year is gonna be stressful"
Aizawa turned his head towards Izuku with a sharp glare as he walked up to him and matched his gaze with a dead cold glare
"Not just this year the whole hero life is stressful so buckle up kid because now it's no more of a rainbow and shines for you all just because you all were born with a good quirk because there are a lot like you"
The others student just stood there watching the harsh words come out of Aizawa's mouth yet they knew those words were true, The hero life isn't a child's play there's danger at every road even after retirement and so those with weak hearts and minds should just leave
But Izuku... He was different and Aizawa's word triggered him, born with a good quirk? He was born quirkless, Rainbow and sunshine? He survived on the road abandoned for 2 years when he was a kid, learnt to steal just to feed himself yet this guy who doesn't know shit about his past was calling him out? Izuku was pissed no he was furious and he was about to show his teacher why he scored the most point in the practical test in UA Entrance Exam
"Yes sir"
Izuku replied with a small nod and lowered his gaze as Aizawa went into his spot to explain the first test, It was a simple 50 meter dash and the matchup went like this
Katsuki VS Shoto
Ojiro VS Sato
Shinsho VS Toru
Tsuyu VS Sero
Momo VS Ochako
Mina VS Kaminari
Kyoka VS Koda
Tokoyami VS Shoji
Ayoma VS Eijiro
Izuku VS Ida
As Izuku looked around and spotted the guy he was up against, A blue haired guy with square glasses who stood like he was in a military drill right now
"Definitely a we gotta follow the rule guys kinda dude"
Izuku thought to himself as I sighed and looked up and down examining him trying to find what kind of thing he might need to be worried about and oh boy he needed to be worried a lot
"A fucking engine quirk... Yeah I might need to push it to 70% this time..."
Mumbling to himself Izuku leaned against the wall but looks like his mumbling habit has caught the attention of someone else too
"Worried about your matchup dude?"
"Huh, oh yeah a little bit, His quirk is engine and a 50 meter dash against him is practically telling me to go up against a car"
Izuku tilted his head a little examining the girl infront of him, Short stature and purple hair cut in a rock punk kind of hairstyle, Her earlobes in the form of earplugs as he remembered her name "Kyoka Jiro"
"Jiro right? Nice to meet you, Izuku Midoriya here"
"Well you already know my name so nice to meet you too Midoriya"
Izuku gave a quick little handshake to Jiro and looked at the dash happening infront of him, Bakugo Vs Todoroki while kyoka leaned into the wall next to him eyeing the matchup curiously
"Who do you think would win this one? Todoroki or Bakugo? I think Todoroki will win since he can just make a slide of ice yknow and then boost him with fire"
"Bakugo will win"
Kyoka turned to Izuku who looked serious examining both of them with an unwavering gaze
"And how are you so confident?"
"Because the moment the gun fires Bakugo is already gonna be half way through the dash and that's the amount of time it will take Todoroki to create the slide and get on it... And by the time Todoroki launches himself with fire Bakugo would be already close to finishing, It's just a difference in the utilisation of the quirk"
