Val finished cleaning up the house a bit. She wanted to sit down, but then studently someone knocked on the door.
"That's probably him!" she thought to herself.
She opened the door and there he was standing there. He was holding a bag of ingrediencies.
"Hi, Val!"
"Hi, Luke! Come in" She waited for him to come in and then closed the door behind him. "I hope you didn't have to do anything today. You really didn't need to come here. I could've taken care of myself."
"Don't worry Val! I don't have work today or anything. And it's better if you lay down and try healing."
"I guess you're right. Thank you again for coming over."
"No problem! Now go to bed! I will make you some tea and then i will start making you some soup. You probably haven't eaten anything yet."
"Yeah. I was cleaning the house a bit. I didn't want you to come over at my house and see all that mess that was going on."
"I would not care about that! Go lay down now, you dummy."
"Okay dad!"
She went to the living room where she made herself a resting area so she could watch the TV. After 2 minutes she wondered if Luke has found everything.
"Hey Luke!!"
"Yeah?!"
"Do you need any help?!"
"No! Everything is good here! Don't worry!"
"Alright!"
She continued watching the TV. She tried not to worry about Luke. After 4 minutes Luke came into the room with a cup of tea that he made.
"Here you go my queen. Enjoy"
She giggled. "Why thank you kind sir"
"Well now I will go make some soup and then we can watch something together"
"Sounds good!"
He smiled and then left the room. After I don't know how long he was finally finished. He grabbed 2 bowls that were filled up with some delicious soup. He walked into the living room and placed the bowl on the coffee table.
"Here you go. Enjoy! And be careful it's hot ."
"Thank you so much!"
they both started eating.
"Oh my god! This is so good! How are you so good at cooking!?"
"Thank you! I really don't know. I should really thank my mom for teaching me."
"MMMM! This is so delicious!"
He giggled as he saw Val smiling from happiness.
After they ate they watched some movies, played games, sang some karaoke. They were just having fun. Hours passed and it was getting pretty late.
"Hey Val. It's pretty late. i should probably head home. It was really fun by the way."
"Huh? You're leaving?"
"Yeah? It's supper late. you need to rest."
"What if you stay at my house? It's not safe to go out at this hour"
"I mean... If you let me then. Sure! I will stay. Just for you."
She smiled. She gave him some clothes that her friends have left. Then she made his bed.
"Good night Luke!"
"Good night Val! Thank you for letting me stay."
"Of course! Any time! Bye bye. Sleep well"
"You too Val."
She left the room and went into her room. She climbed onto her bed and covered herself with a blanket. It didn't take long before she fell asleep.
