Val came back home and took a shower. Then she made herself some food. After eating she make herself some tea and turned on some jazz. She sat down on her sofa and looked at her phone. She remembered getting that cute boy's number and thought about the words he said "and don't forget to text me." She kept looking at the nickname "cute boy". She looked at it the last time and decided to text him.

They continued talking some more. Val started to like Luke more and more. She loved how funny he was. Val also found out that he likes playing the guitar and that he's really good at it. After talking for hours Val got pretty tired. She had work the next day so she needed some sleep. She texted Luke good night and went to sleep.
Sick day
Val woke up and she felt kind of weird. At first she didn't really mind it, but then when she started getting ready she felt even weirder. She felt extremely cold. Her nose was also runny and her throat hurt. She checked her temperature and it confirmed that she was indeed sick. Sadly she wouldn't see Nana but at least she had a day off work. She went back to bed and started texting Luke again.
