It was 9:05am. Val woke up. She smelled something delicious!
"MmMm~. That smells so good. What is that?" She thought to herself before leaving the room. She saw Luke in the kitchen cooking steak.
"Good morning. What are you making? It smells so good!"
" Oh, good morning Val!" He turned around to look at her. He didn't expect her to be awake.
"I'm making steak with some potatoes. I hope you will like it. By the way do you feel better?"
"UuU that's delicious! And yeah I feel so much better. I will probably go to work tomorrow."
"I'm happy to hear that! Now come on let's go eat."
They both sat down at the table. The steak was really good. Val loved it!
"Oh my god! This is so delicious!"
"Thank you, Val." He smiled while he looked at Val's pretty green eyes.
"I just noticed that you have really pretty eyes."
Val looked up at him and blushed a little bit. He noticed it and giggled a little bit.
"Thank you..!" Val mumbled and then continued eating .
He smiled and then continued eating as well.
After they ate they're food they cleaned the kitchen. Doing the dishes, putting everything in they're places... But while they were cleaning Luke got a call. It was his friend.
"Hey Val. I will pick up this call and then come back to help you finish cleaning. Okay?"
"Yeah, okay!"
"Thank you."
He went to the other room to pick up the phone. Val continued cleaning. There was barely anything to clean at this point. So she finished and went to the living room. After 6 minutes Luke came back.
"So? Did something happen?"
"No. Well kind of? But I have to go. I have to help out at work."
"Oh. Alright."
"Yeah I'm sorry"
"Don't worry! I understand."
They both went to the entrance. Luke put on his shoes.
"Good luck at work." She hugged him tightly.
He hugged her back.
"Thank you for letting me stay."
"No problem. It was really nice having you here."
"I'm glad to hear that. Well then. Good bye Val"
"Good bye Luke! I will go to work tomorrow so if you want you can stop by and get yourself some coffee."
"I will probably come."
She giggled.
"I will be waiting."
He left the apartment leaving Val to stay home alone. She went into her living room and just turned on something to watch on the TV. Her day was pretty boring. She didn't do anything fun. After a while it was 11pm so she just decided to go sleep.
