The alarm clock went off and Val woke up. She got ready for work, eating breakfast, putting on a little bit of makeup, putting on her cute outfit. Then she grabbed her keys and phone. She locked her house and went to work. When she go there she unlocked the door and went inside. She went to the "employees only" room and put on her work uniform, turned the lights on, turned on the music. Then she went to the front and changed the "closed" sign to "open". She made herself some coffee and waited for the costumers to come.
After 5 minutes someone came in. When Val looked up to see who it was she got really happy.
"Good morning Nana!"
"Good morning! Where have you been?" She sat down on the chair near Val.
"I was sick."
"Oh my! How are you feeling now? I hope you didn't come to work still feeling sick!"
"I'm good. I didn't come to work sick. Don't worry Nana."
"Did you have to take care of yourself? Or did someone came?"
"Well Nana. You won't believe what happened!"
"UuU! Tell me! You know I love hearing your stories."
"So remember when I told you about that cute boy?"
"Of course I do!"
"So he came here again right. And then I actually asked for his number! And so then we started talking and stuff. And I was so exited to go to work because he said that he would come over again. But then when i woke up I felt really sick. And so I told him. And then he came over my house! He made me food, watched some movies with me, played games! It was amazing! Nana I think he is the one! He also knows how to cook. Like he's so good at it. His food is delicious!"
"Awww! I'm so happy to hear that. I think he's the one for you too. You should talk to him more and then maybe you guys could go on a cute date." She smirked.
"That's a great idea! Thank you Nana. Now tell me do you want to order anything?"
"Oh yes, of course. I want a latte."
"Okay! So tell me what's new with you?" She looked at Nana one last time before she started making a latte.
"Oh well there is nothing new. I kids told me that they might come over this weekend. So I hope they do come."
"That's really nice!"
"It sure is!"
"Here is your latte! Enjoy."
"Thank you!"
They talked for a bit but then like always more people started coming around and she had to continue working. After A couple of hours Luke came!
Val looked up who came in and immediately had a bright smile on her face.
"Hey Luke!"
"Hi Val!"
"What would you like for today?"
"Hmm.. Just give me a black coffee."
"Okay! So tell me how are you?"
"I'm okay. Just really tired. I have a lot to do."
"That sounds horrible."
"It is horrible! I'm so glad I finished everything. I can finally chill for a couple of days. Or maybe not. Who knows."
"Yeah. But don't worry. The weekend is coming up. Just wait 2 more day and then you can chill for how long you want."
"That is true."
"Here's your coffee."
"Thank you!"
"No problem!"
They talked for a bit but then Luke had to go. Val continued working. Nothing really happened. It was like every boring day. After a couple of hours Val was finally done with work. She cleaned the place up, turned the lights off, changed the "open" sign to "close" and then locked the door. She was going home but then....
